This time, we will introduce a popular hamburger specialty restaurant originating from Fukuoka Prefecture.

The buns, hand-kneaded by a baker, are delicious! Popular restaurant from Onga-gun "MASAJIRO BURGER Canal City Hakata Branch" (Sumiyoshi, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City)

"MASAJIRO BURGER" is a burger chain that makes its buns by hand, with the concept of "golden buns are delicious." It was founded in Onga-cho, Onga-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture in 2019 and currently has eight stores in the prefecture. The Canal City Hakata store opened in December 2023.

The spacious restaurant has table seats as well as counter seats that are convenient for solo diners. The comfortable space makes it a great place to drop in by yourself.

"MASAJIRO BURGER" was founded after the owner discovered that the hamburgers he had eaten overseas were delicious, and the interior of the restaurant also has a foreign feel!

The walls are decorated with photos and illustrations of hamburgers and other things, so you can enjoy the space as well.

Check out the special "golden buns"!

The best feature is the handmade "Golden Buns." They are made using an original recipe with an original blend of wheat, giving them a chewy texture. They are hand-kneaded by the bakers, and have a slightly sweet and rich flavor that you will never forget once you have tried them. They contain no eggs, colorings, or preservatives, and are a perfect match with the fillings!

Additionally, the aged honey mustard mayo sauce enhances the overall flavor of the burger.

I ordered the most popular "Egg & Bacon".

This time I ordered the ever-popular "Egg & Bacon Set" (set price 1,480 yen, burger alone 950 yen).

The set includes "Masajiro Potatoes", "Masajiro Menchi" or "Nuggets (5P)" (each 380 yen) and your choice of drink (each 330 yen), which is 180 yen cheaper than ordering each separately. You can change your drink to beer for an additional 200 yen.

Even for eat-in customers, food is served in a paper bag with the company's logo on it, and it's fun and unusual to rip the bag open and use it as a tray!

This volume is attractive!

The thick, flavorful patty is juicy and seasoned with spices. The smoothness of the soft-boiled egg is perfectly matched with the texture of the bacon and fresh vegetables.

You can also buy souvenirs!

The "Golden Honey Mayo" and "Golden Chili Mayo" used in the hamburgers (780 yen each/200g) are available for purchase. You can use them in your home cooking. Rusks made from the "Golden Buns" that go well with alcohol are also available for purchase. They are also recommended as souvenirs from Fukuoka.
