The delicious creamy Paris brulee! Chilled crepes with ice cream at a popular shop (Kurume City)
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, we will introduce you to a shop in Kurume City where you can enjoy delicious crepes.
Reasonably priced! Nonakamachi Crepes (Kurume City), a popular crepe shop loved by locals with over 30 different items on the menu
Nonakamachi Crepe, a crepe specialty store, opened in May 2022 with the idea of "creating a store that will be a beacon in the town, a place where everyone, from small children to the elderly, can drop in easily."
It is a 5-minute walk from JR Minamikurume Station, and is located on the corner of Nonakacho Five-way intersection. You can park your car in front of or next to the store.
Although it is a take-out specialty store, you can also sit and eat on the benches in front of the store.
There are over 30 different menu items, ranging from classic sweets to savory dishes and seasonal specials!
Some of the flavors available were "Chocolate Banana Custard Cream" (650 yen), "Caramel Nuts Cream" (670 yen), "Cookies & Cream" (580 yen), "Brown Sugar Kinako Shiratama Cream" (620 yen), "Matcha Cream" (550 yen), "Butter Sugar" (400 yen), and "Pork Yakiniku Crepe" (690 yen).
All are reasonably priced, which is great!
They make each one carefully after receiving your order.
The chewy dough is addictive! "Ice Brulee" is recommended for summer
"Ice brulee," a crepe with ice cream inside, is perfect for the hot summer.
There are three varieties available: "Chocolate Ice Brulee" (750 yen), "Vanilla Ice Brulee" (750 yen), and "Matcha Ice Brulee" (780 yen).
This time I had the "Chocolate Ice Brulee" and the "Vanilla Ice Brulee".
Ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and granola wrapped in a crepe.
By the way, for the "Vanilla Ice Brulee", you can choose between chocolate sauce or caramel sauce. We chose the chocolate sauce.
*"Chocolate Ice Brulee" has chocolate sauce, and "Matcha Ice Brulee" has matcha sauce.
Custard is placed on top of the ice cream, and then the surface is toasted with a burner to caramelize it until it becomes crispy and crunchy.
Above all, the brulee part is rich and creamy and delicious!
The bitter burnt flavor is perfectly balanced with the sweet cream.
The crepe dough is a little thick and chewy, and it's quite filling, so it feels like a great deal.
The crunchy texture of the granola was a nice accent and I enjoyed it until the very end.
The kids were delighted and ate them up in no time (laughs).
It's sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children.
Please stop by and check it out. (Text by Yuri-chan)
