Finally, a permanent store has opened! Cafe "Lip de Koori" (Kurume City) where you can enjoy "shaved ice without ice"

Two years ago, the shaved ice shop "Lip de Koori" operated in a rented space in Higashimachi, Kurume City for a limited period, but has now finally opened a permanent store!

It is located along National Route 3.

There is already a unique atmosphere from the entrance, but what's inside is even more amazing.

The signature dish is shaved ice made not with "ordinary ice" but with the currently popular "milk ice" (ice made from milk). It is a dish that is particular about how fluffy it melts in your mouth.

In addition to shaved ice, they also offer a wide variety of light meals and baked goods such as "Hot Sandwiches" (900 yen), "French Fries" (salty 260 yen), and "Toa-kun Quiche" (580 yen), as well as drinks such as "Tea Soda" (350 yen) and "Banana Juice" (550 yen).

The prices are also reasonable. They keep prices low overall so that students can feel comfortable coming to the school.

By the way, the "black tea" served in a custom-made teapot is a must-see. It costs 400 yen including the pot (set price 250 yen), which is pretty hot.

"Matcha Shaved Ice" - Great aroma and flavor!

The thing I was looking for that day was the "Matcha Shaved Ice" (1,100 yen).

Shaved milk ice with matcha is topped with shiratama (rice flour dumplings) and milky bean paste.

The ice itself is flavored, so it goes down easy even without syrup (strong argument).

What's more, the rich matcha is generously applied not only on top of the ice but also inside it, so you don't end up with the tragedy of the flavor becoming diluted as you eat it.

The fluffy texture and the balance of the mellow bitterness and umami of the matcha were irresistible.

Other flavors available include "Milk Shaved Ice" (800 yen), "Soybean Flour Shaved Ice" (1,100 yen), "Strawberry Shaved Ice" (1,200 yen), "Mango Shaved Ice" (1,200 yen), and "Tea Shaved Ice" (1,200 yen).

We also discovered the trendy dessert "Greek yogurt"!

They even sell the super popular "Greek Yogurt" (950 yen)! It's handmade so there are limited quantities.

Greek yogurt is made by straining regular yogurt and has a slightly firm, rich cheese-like taste.

You can add plenty of honey and mix the fresh fruit inside together before eating, or you can carefully savor each piece one by one.

I don't usually eat this much fruit, so my body is happy. It seems to be making me healthier.
