A hidden lunch spot in Tenjin! Non-pork bone ramen with Mizutaki soup (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)
Hello. I'm Masaki, a writer who loves hidden gourmet spots.
This time, we will introduce the "Special Ramen" that realizes the dream combination of French cuisine and Hakata local chicken.
A hidden gem of a lunch spot in the Tenjin area! "Hakata Mizutaki and Yakitori, Sometimes French, KotoPro Hakata Main Branch" (Daimyo, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
"Hakata Mizutaki and Yakitori, Sometimes French, KotoPro Hakata Main Branch" is a creative French restaurant and izakaya restaurant located in Daimyo, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.
The owner, who was a head chef at a famous restaurant, offers several exquisite dishes that add French elements to the izakaya menu.
The shop is on the 5th floor of the building, on the right hand side after taking the elevator. You can feel the good atmosphere from the entrance.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a classy and lovely space.
The table seats are also very elegant. It seems like a great place to come for dates, anniversaries, celebrations, and business entertainment.
You can see the cooking process from the counter seats.
There is also a large pot filled with ramen soup! It is cooked for a long time, incorporating elements of French soup making.
A lunch where you can fully enjoy the flavors of Hakata chicken and vegetables! "Hakata Chicken Special Ramen" set
This time, I had the lunch set of "Hakata Jidori Special Ramen" made with the utmost care by a Mizutaki restaurant, and a choice of rice or drink, all for 1,000 yen.
*The set is only available until 3pm, and from 3pm to 5pm only "special ramen" will be served.
You can choose one of the following four toppings to go with your special ramen.
・Chicken rice
・Cheese and Mentaiko Risotto
・Mini Mizutaki Curry
·Soft drink
"Special ramen" packed with the delicious flavors of Hakata chicken and vegetables.
Our signature golden colored soup is made with generous amounts of Hakata Jidori chicken from Fukuoka Prefecture.
The yellow thing on top is chicken oil. It makes for a beautiful color.
The soup is surprisingly good.
The flavor of the ingredients is the base, and the only seasoning is salt. The refreshing taste that lingers in your nose is also good.
The noodles used are from "Seimenya Keishi." They are medium-thick and chewy, and go well with the soup.
Contains chicken char siu made from Hakata local chicken.
It's Hakata chicken, so it goes without saying that it's delicious. It wasn't dry, and had just the right amount of elasticity, which was very impressive.
Usually, only one type of rice is included in the set, but on this day we were kindly given two types.
The owner recommended the "Chicken Rice" shown in the photo. It was lightly seasoned and had a nice sweet and savory chicken flavor.
This is "Cheese Mentaiko Risotto." It goes great with Western-style ramen. By the way, it's also delicious if you pour the ramen soup over rice!
Thank you for the meal. The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful.
It's on the fifth floor of a building, so you can enjoy it in secret and at your leisure. If you're interested, please come and check it out. (Text by Masaki)
