[Higashi Ward Lunch] The juicy "Roast Beef Bowl" is a must-try! A very popular local restaurant (Fukuoka City)
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love delicious food.
This time, we will introduce you to a delicious lunch that is currently a hot topic in Chihaya, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City.
"Gohoubi Bar Tabaru" (Chihaya, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City), a popular restaurant loved by locals
"Gohoubi Bar Tabaru" is located about a 6-minute walk from the west exit of Nishitetsu Kashii Station, a 7-minute walk from Nishitetsu Kashiimiyamae Station, and a 10-minute walk from JR Kashii Station.
This is a Western-style izakaya with the concept of "rewarding everyone who works hard every day."
By the way, the restaurant's name, "Tabaru," is a combination of the owner's name, "Tahara," and "Baru."
The shop has counter seats and
There are table seats available.
Children's tableware, chairs, and disposable bibs are also available, so even those with small children can feel safe using the facility.
A very satisfying and delicious lunch!
This restaurant is known for its wide variety of lunch options and good value for money. I visited here with my children.
First, there is the beautifully presented signature dish, the "Roast Beef Bowl" (1,300 yen). For an extra 100 yen, you can add an egg yolk.
At lunchtime, the set comes with soup, salad, and a small side dish.
The main ingredient, beef, is slowly cooked at low temperature, making it very tender and juicy.
They are sliced thinly so that even children can easily eat them, but there is a generous amount included.
The sauce is a mild soy sauce base with a subtle sourness that gives it a refreshing taste. It also goes perfectly with wasabi.
If you look closely, you'll see that it's topped with pickled ginger, which is unusual for roast beef, but it also adds to the refreshing flavor.
Don't hesitate to add egg yolk! Just look at how creamy it is. You'll be drooling just looking at it, won't you? (laughs)
When the egg yolk and sauce mix together, the meat and rice taste even more delicious! The bowl itself may look small, but it was quite filling.
Next up is the most popular "Chicken Nanban Lunch" (970 yen).
This type of fried chicken is easy to eat and comes topped with Nanban sauce and tartar sauce.
The tartar sauce was not too sour and was so tasty that the kids ate it all up (lol)!
They were gone in a flash!
By the way, another nice thing about this restaurant is that you can have as much rice and soup as you want.
The soup was seaweed soup, but the mild flavor didn't overpower the main dish, so I ended up having refills several times.
Other lunch options include the "Daily One Plate Lunch" (800 yen), the "Domestic Hamburger Lunch" with a choice of sauce (1,000 yen), the "Reward! Tabaru Bowl" topped with lean steak and grilled meat (1,700 yen), and the slightly more luxurious "TABARU Lunch Course" (2,200 yen, 3,300 yen with 1 hour of all-you-can-drink *Reservation required by the day before).
You can also order from the dinner menu during lunch time, so you can have a drink during the day.
They also have a take-out menu, so it can be used for a variety of occasions.
Please stop by and check it out. (Text by Yuri-chan)
