ON SUGAR is a donut and bakery shop that operates two stores: the Yakuin store, which opened in 2019, and the Fukuoka Mitsukoshi store, which opened in 2023.

This popular shop sells malasada doughnuts, baked goods, cakes, and other handmade sweets, as well as coffee and tea.

Crispy, crunchy, and fluffy! Introducing the delicious new malasada doughnut

Here is a new product from this popular store that everyone is looking forward to! It's the "Pudding Brulee Malasada" (450 yen each).

This dish combines the delicious flavors of two sweet treats, pudding and creme brulee, into their signature malasada doughnut.

Under the crispy, crunchy surface of the creme brulée is a fluffy malasada, with bitter caramel sauce reminiscent of pudding and plenty of homemade custard cream inside!

The crunchy and crunchy brulée part is the highlight of this dish, which is said to be "ON SUGAR's pride and joy."

Apparently they made numerous prototypes to ensure that the malasada doughnut would have the same crispy texture that you get when you crack open a creme brulee.
