I don't want to go home! "Delicious sweets and a great atmosphere" A new stylish cafe (Mukaino, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City)

This time, we will introduce you to a new, very stylish cafe.

A stylish space! "d&h vita" is a cafe produced by a housing manufacturer (Mukaino, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City)

"d&h vita" opened on January 13, 2024 in Mukaino, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

It is located behind Fukuoka Prefectural Chikushigaoka High School and has a parking lot for three cars. It is the former site of Cafe MARUGO Mukono Branch.

This cafe is produced by the housing manufacturer "D&H." "Vita" means "life" in Italian.

The interior of the store is spacious and open. It's such a wonderful space that you'll find yourself screaming out loud!

You can relax in a comfortable space and get ideas for your lifestyle from the interior decor and miscellaneous goods.

There are also many ornamental plants, which are very soothing.

Some of the store's miscellaneous goods and carefully selected furniture can be purchased, so it's fun to look at them while you wait.

All the sweets and food are made in-house, and the display case is lined with delicious looking cakes!

Baked goods are lined up on top of the display case. All baked goods and cakes, with a few exceptions, are available for takeout.

Now let me introduce it in more detail.

Fresh cream and sponge that melts in your mouth! "Amaou Shortcake"

One item that particularly caught my eye in the display case was the "Amaou Shortcake" (540 yen)!

The genoise (sponge cake) has a texture that melts in your mouth along with the fresh cream. It is made with wheat from Hokkaido and contains cane sugar, giving it a slightly brown color.

All the other sweets are made with mineral-rich cane sugar, showing the attention to detail that goes into the ingredients.

The fresh cream used is from Kyushu and has a high milk fat content of 48%, giving it a rich and full-bodied flavor. The sweetness is kept to a minimum to bring out the flavor of the Amaou strawberries. The texture is so light that I ate it all in no time.

The fruit on offer at the moment is Amaou strawberry, but it changes with the seasons. I'm looking forward to the next fruit.

We recommend eating it with ice cream! Soft and fluffy "Fa Breton"

You can also enjoy "Fa Breton" (300 yen), a traditional pastry from Brittany, France.

There are usually three types available, and on the day we visited there were "Orange Peel," "Rum Raisin," and "Prune & Rosemary."

This time we chose "Orange Peel"!

It's delicious at room temperature, but the texture of the dough changes when it's cooled or heated!

So I asked them to warm up the Far Breton and added a topping of ice cream (+150 yen). By the way, ice cream can also be used as a topping for other sweets and drinks.

They are intentionally baked in small pieces for the texture, and they are chewy and fluffy at the same time, so they're delicious!

This homemade ice cream is made with eggs from Itoshima, milk from Kyushu, fresh cream and plenty of vanilla beans, giving it a rich, mellow sweetness.

The combination of warm Far Breton and cold ice cream was delightful and the perfect pairing.

You won't be able to stop eating! Crunchy and fragrant "Seasonal vegetable quiche with lots of fillings"

The only food menu item at this restaurant is the "Seasonal Vegetable Filling Quiche" (550 yen). The ingredients change daily, and on this day they were rape blossoms, spring onions, and homemade chicken ham.

The brisée dough (a dough with a kneaded filling) is baked until crispy and fragrant, and is filled with plenty of vegetables. When you put it in your mouth, the flavor overflows and it's absolutely delicious! You won't be able to stop eating it ♡

Enjoy carefully roasted coffee

The coffee, made with specially selected "direct flame roasted" beans, was also very delicious.

By roasting for a short time, it has a complex flavor with gradations, a strong taste, and a clean aftertaste.

It's a luxury to have coffee carefully brewed one cup at a time after an order is placed.

For hot coffee, you can choose from the classic, easy-to-drink "vita blend" (650 yen) or the refreshing "vita mild" (650 yen).

They also offer lattes made with oat milk and soy milk.

They also have 100% juice and Japanese black tea. The "Herb Tea" (680 yen) is made with lemons from Saga Prefecture and domestic herbs grown without the use of pesticides, and has a refreshing taste.

In keeping with the store's concept of helping customers find something that will add a little excitement to their lives, everything in the store seemed to have been carefully designed and made to be comfortable to use.
