[Mojiko Retro] Thick and juicy! A hearty burger made in the US (Kitakyushu City)

Dan! introduces delicious restaurants and popular spots, mainly in Fukuoka Prefecture.

This time, we will introduce a restaurant in Minatomachi, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, where you can eat American hamburgers.

A hamburger restaurant with plenty of volume! Enjoy the taste of California at"HUNGRYS BURGER LOUNGE" (Minatomachi, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City)

"HUNGRYS BURGER LOUNGE" is a hamburger restaurant located about a 3-minute walk from JR Mojiko Station, across from the "Osaka Shosen" building. It is run by the younger brother of a famous comedian from Kitakyushu.

The store does not have its own parking lot, so if you are coming by car, please park in a nearby paid parking lot.

There is a menu next to the entrance so you can check it out before going in.

The interior of the store is decorated with American goods and posters everywhere, giving it an old American atmosphere. You'll feel like you're in America.

Apparently the miscellaneous goods, T-shirts, skateboards, etc. were purchased in the US. Some of these items can also be purchased.

They have popular basic burgers such as the "Bacon Cheeseburger" (1,390 yen), "Double Cheeseburger" (1,590 yen), and "Cheeseburger" (1,200 yen), as well as the "Marines Burger" (single 1,850 yen, double 2,300 yen), which is used by the U.S. Marine Corps.

There were eight varieties in total, including the "Jerk Chicken Burger" (1,090 yen), the "Jerk Chicken Double Burger" (1,490 yen), the large "Fat Burger" (1,850 yen), and the "Crazy Burger" (2,300 yen).

All burgers come with French fries. You can add a drink combo for an additional 250 yen.

Try the authentic, thick and juicy burger!

This time, I ordered the "Marin's Burger (single)" and my friend ordered the "Double Cheeseburger."

Marins Burger (single 1,850 yen)

The Mullin's Burger is topped with beef, cheese, grilled onion, egg, bacon, and jalapeno (you can ask them to remove it when ordering). The sauce is a mix of garlic mustard and Thousand Island.

The coarsely ground beef patty is thick and juicy. The light seasoning brings out the flavor of the meat.

The sauce is delicious and the flavors of all the ingredients blend together in your mouth, it's amazing!

You can also have it cut in half. It's a big burger, so it might be easier to eat if you have it cut in half.

Double Cheeseburger (1,590 yen)

The Double Cheeseburger is topped with two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, and fresh tomato. The melted cheese is delicious! It's tall and looks very filling.

I'd like to introduce some other burgers besides the one I tried this time.

This is the most popular item, the "Bacon Cheeseburger" (1,390 yen).

The "Fat Burger" (1,850 yen) is packed with beef patty, pork, and chicken.

Each burger is said to recreate the taste of California, USA. They all look so delicious that you'll want to come back again and again to try them all.

Not only was the burger delicious, but the fries were also plentiful and I was very satisfied.

You can also order alcoholic drinks such as beer and highballs.

In the coming season, it would be nice to get some takeaway and eat it while looking out at Mojiko Port (takeaway costs an additional 30 yen on top of the box fee, until 4:00 p.m.).

By the way, an event is scheduled to be held at the sister store "HUNGRY'S" in Shinsone, Kokuraminami Ward on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
