[Tenjin Area Lunch] Delicious and uplifting! Limited time only plate (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

This time, we would like to introduce a noteworthy lunch that will be available for a limited time from March 1, 2024.
Anyone can come just for the meal! Tenjin area wedding venue "TENJIN MONOLITH" (Nagahama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)
"TENJIN MONOLITH" is located in Nagahama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. From Tenjin Station on the Subway Kuko Line, head towards "Mina Tenjin" through the Tenjin Underground Mall, exit at "West 1" (where you'll come out at Futata the Flag), and it's about a 5-minute walk from there.
Although it is often thought of as a wedding venue, anyone can come and enjoy a meal here except on Wednesdays, when it is closed, and on wedding days (Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, etc.).
The spacious lobby has large windows overlooking a beautiful fountain.
Gorgeous in appearance and taste! "Sakura Lunch" available until the end of April
This time, I tried the "Sakura Lunch" which is available for a limited time until Tuesday, April 30, 2024 (lunch time 11:00-15:00).
The windows of the venue are decorated with countless LEDs, creating a beautiful space. Even though it's daytime, you can enjoy your meal while looking at the illuminations.
There were also cherry blossom trees on display, giving the place a cherry blossom viewing feel.
The Sakura Lunch menu comes in five options: "Luxury Course" (5,000 yen), "Full Course" (3,800 yen), "Half Course" (2,500 yen), "Lunch Plate" (1,800 yen), and "Pasta Course" (1,500 yen).
I chose the "Lunch Plate".
The set includes a plate of [Fresh Salad], [Fried Taro Marinated with Walnuts], [New Onion Crème Brulee], [Itoshima Pork Terrine], [Ethnic Style Sea Bass Escabeche], [Pan-fried Spanish Mackerel with Fresh Green Sauce Vin Blanc] or [Grilled Hakata Hanamidori Chicken with Vigarade Sauce], and [Bread], as well as an after-meal drink.
As the name suggests, the "Fresh Salad" is packed with fresh vegetables ♡ You can enjoy their crunchy texture.
"Fried marinated taro with walnuts" has a refreshing taste.
Of course you can eat it as is, but it's also delicious and recommended to eat it with bread.
The "New Onion Creme Brulee" has a crispy exterior and a soft texture inside.
The brulee-like surface was sweet, while the inside was packed with the flavor of fresh onions.
"Ethnic Suzuki Escabeche" has a refreshing taste with the acidity of vinegar.
The more you chew the "Itoshima Pork Terrine," the more the rich flavor of Itoshima pork fills your mouth. Eating it with the accompanying mustard adds a subtle sourness and spiciness, making it even more delicious.
For the main dish, you can choose from "Pan-fried Spanish Mackerel with Fresh Green Sauce Vin Blanc" or "Grilled Hakata Hanamidori Chicken with Vigarade Sauce (photo below)."
The crispy browned skin and the soft, juicy meat inside made me want to eat more than one.
After-meal drinks can be chosen from coffee or tea.
The other lunches were also very appealing, so I'll introduce them to you!
Reservation-only course
The "Full Course" (3,800 yen) is a luxurious course that allows you to enjoy both meat and fish, with an appetizer of "Yuzu-scented salmon marinated in new onion coulis," a soup of "carrot potage with cumin écume," and a main dish of "Poached Spanish mackerel with spring vegetable cushion SAKURA VinBland" and "Grilled Itoshima pork salad with sauce Vigarade." It also comes with "bread" and a dessert of "mellow berry bavarois and Fukuoka Amaou."
It is also recommended for lunch on special occasions.
For the "Half Course" (2,500 yen), you can choose either fish or meat as your main dish.
The "Luxury Course" (5,000 yen) is a chef's choice course made using ingredients procured that day.

Pasta course
The "Pasta Course" (1,500 yen) is a great value menu that includes a "fresh salad of 10 kinds of vegetables and seasonal fruits," "carrot potage with cumin flavor," your choice of pasta, and an after-meal drink.
You can choose from three types of pasta: "Spaghetti Primavera with Clams and Spring Vegetables," "Japanese-Style Spaghettini with Hakata Spicy Fish Eggs and Mushrooms (pictured above)," and "Rich Tomato Spaghettini with Sakura Shrimp and Mizuna."
Don't miss the pastry chef's special afternoon tea "Dessert Selection"!
Also, be sure to check out the "Pastry Chef's Special Dessert Selection CADEAUX" (2,500 yen), which is also available as an afternoon tea for a limited time until the end of April. It is served from 11:00 to 17:00 (last orders 16:30), and is limited to 20 servings per day. Reservations must be made by the day before.
The luxurious contents were created to resemble a gift box. You can enjoy eight types of desserts including "Sakura Mont Blanc," "Raspberry Macaroons," "Sakura Panna Cotta," "Gâteau au Chocolat," "Strawberry Canelé," "Berry Sandwich," "Strawberry Tart," and "Strawberry Daifuku" as well as one drink.
The pale pink color makes my heart flutter ♡
