You'll be amazed at the volume! A popular Korean restaurant that is full even on weekdays, serving delicious seafood hotpot (Omuta City)

Hello. I am Yorimichi, the owner of the blog "Yorimichi's Fukuoka Introduction," which introduces delicious restaurants in Fukuoka.

This time, we visited a Korean restaurant in Omuta City.

Anyone who knows about this restaurant, which is a little away from the downtown area, must be a gourmet.

The hot pot is delicious and is a must-try for fans of Korean food and those who like spicy food.

If you don't know about it, you'll never get there! Popular restaurant "Korean Restaurant Madan" (Omuta City) that is fully booked even on weekdays

"Korean Restaurant Madan" is located 5 minutes by car from Omuta Station and 2 minutes on foot from the Nishitetsu bus stop "Shoyamacho". The restaurant is run by a female owner.

It is located in a corner of a building lined with izakayas and other establishments, in an inconspicuous location that anyone who doesn't know about it would definitely miss.

Please note that it is open during the day and evening from Tuesday to Friday, but only opens from 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

There are about seven two-person tables inside the restaurant, and it's not a large place, so you'll need to make a reservation before going.

In fact, this is a popular restaurant that is easily packed even on weekdays.

The handmade POPs are also cute.

This time, we will introduce the popular dishes of this restaurant.

A mountain of seafood hotpot "Nakkopse" is served with "Korean food" to create an "unbeatable ochazuke"

Cheers then!

This is what was served as an appetizer before the main course came out. On this day, there were three kinds of kimchi.

Actually, I don't like spicy food, so I tried the "Cod Meat Kimchi" for the first time with some trepidation. It did have a slight tingling sensation, but it wasn't too spicy and was easy to eat.

It will go down a treat with alcohol. I bet it would also be delicious as a rice ball.

Ah, squid kimchi is really spicy, ahhh.

Madan Cuisine

While we were enjoying comparing the kimchi, the popular seafood hotpot "Nakkopsae" (4,380 yen for two people) arrived...

Madan Cuisine

Wait, is this really enough for two?

Madan Cuisine

As you can see, the portion is huge, but is it really big enough for two people?

Nakgokkeopsae is topped with a mountain of the most popular ingredients, including shrimp, octopus, and innards, as well as vegetables.

The soup started to boil and a delicious aroma began to spread.

Now this is a delicious one.

It looks like it's going to take a little while, so shall we eat the side dish first?

"Yangnyeom Chicken" (730 yen). You can choose the level of spiciness. I like it mild.

Hmmm, what is this?

I've eaten yangnyeom chicken at many restaurants before, but this one has just the right amount of spiciness so I could eat it forever.

I also ordered the "Seafood Chijimi" (850 yen), which was also huge.

Maybe the volume is a bit off. If you order all at once, it will spill over the table and you'll have to use the seat next to you, so it's better to order slowly.

The seafood flavor is condensed here. The crispy skin and chewy texture are exquisite.

Before I knew it, the pot was finished.

I ordered it with mild spiciness, but they can also make it more spicy for those who like it spicy.

First, separate it onto plates.

Yummy!!

It has a sweet and spicy authentic taste, and also contains the delicious flavors of horumon and seafood, making it irresistible.

I was so impressed that I wanted to come back just to eat this.

The hormones are really booming.

I was recommended that "If you want to enjoy this hotpot even more, try this," so this time I decided to try the "Korean Meal" (480 yen) instead of plain rice.

Put the hotpot ingredients on top of the rice topped with green onions and Korean seaweed.

Madan Cuisine

Pour the soup lightly over it.

Madan Cuisine

That's delicious.

The flavor of Korean seaweed is also added to create an unbeatable ochazuke.

If you like seafood, you should definitely try this. It's a flavor that Yorimichi highly recommends.

To finish off the hot pot, you can choose to add rice or noodles, so I went for noodles this time.

It was delicious.

I highly recommend going with friends, family, or even on a date. I highly recommend "Korean Restaurant Madan." (Text by Yorimitsu)
