Super-voluminous yet guilt-free!? An exquisite hamburger (Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)
Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.
We will introduce healthy restaurants that are recommended not only for vegans (those who do not use any animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, or dairy products) but also for those who are not vegan.
Healthy and delicious! All menu items are made from plant-based ingredients at "NICE plant-based cafe" (Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)
NICE plant-based cafe is located in Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka, about a 10-minute walk from Yakuin-Odori Station on the subway.
Based on the concept of "plant-based," the restaurant was opened with the desire to create a place where anyone can gather around a table casually. All of the menu items are plant-based, making it a relaxing place where people who don't eat animal products or have allergies can enjoy meals together.
There is one parking space in front of the shop. It's rare to find a cafe with a parking lot in the city, so it's nice to be able to go there by car.
Opening the heavy door, you'll find a stylish concrete interior. Two sides are made of glass, letting in the sunlight from outside and creating a bright and appealing atmosphere.
There are chairs lined up on either side of a large table, creating an atmosphere conducive to conversation.
At the entrance, NICE original T-shirts, key chains, and other items were on sale.
A wide variety of items, from classics to unique treats! Hamburgers and deli plates
The menu ranges from standard items such as the "Hamburger" (1,150 yen) and "Teriyaki Burger" (1,260 yen) to more unusual dishes such as the "Chili Bean Burger" (1,370 yen), "Bolognese Burger" (1,370 yen), and "Mushroom Deiya Cheese Burger" (1,425 yen)!
In addition to hamburgers, there are also deli plates such as the "Hamburger Plate" (1,500 yen) and the "Lasagna Plate" (1,500 yen), as well as ice cream and baked goods.
The most popular item! The perfect avocado cheeseburger
This time I ordered the "Avocado Cheese Burger" (1,480 yen), which is said to be the most popular item!
First, the salad. It's full of carrot rapes and kale, and has a nice crunchy texture! The sour dressing is also delicious.
This voluminous hamburger is topped with beautiful sliced avocado, making it perfect for social media!
The buns are toasted to a golden brown on the outside, giving them a crispy yet chewy texture and a slight sweetness.
The patties are made from chickpeas and are made individually in-store with added ingredients such as brown rice, walnuts, and beets.
Not only that, but even the sauces, such as mayonnaise, are homemade.
When I heard it was vegan, I imagined it would be lightly seasoned, but it was actually a lot more flavorful than I expected and very delicious! The taste didn't even hint that it contained any animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, or dairy products, and I enjoyed a very satisfying lunch♪
Food preferences vary widely in this day and age. Why not try the healthy and filling hamburger at NICE? (Text by Hakata Aya.)
