[Tenjin area] Amaou millefeuille on top of fluffy pancakes! The best new product from a popular store (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

This time, I'd like to introduce my favorite shops that I always want to visit during strawberry season ♡

Australian cafe & bar Manly, a very popular cafe in the Tenjin area (Imaizumi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Australian cafe & bar Manly is located in Imaizumi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. It is one of the first cafes in Fukuoka to incorporate the Australian style.

It is located about an 8-minute walk from the south exit of Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station.

The store's name, "Manly," comes from the name of a beach in Sydney, Australia.

The owner visited Australia on a working holiday 20 years ago and it changed his life and values. He opened this restaurant hoping to recreate the atmosphere of that beloved place.

In addition to being a cafe, they also provide free support for studying abroad and working holidays.

The shop has counter, table and sofa seats inside, as well as terrace seating outside.

You can bring your dog along (either on the terrace or on the sofa seats inside the restaurant). There is also a menu for dogs.

It's a popular restaurant and there may be long lines on weekends, so we recommend making a reservation before visiting.

Must-try! This season's limited edition "Amaou Millefeuille Pancakes"

The specialty of "Manly" is the fluffy and jiggly "Ricotta Cheese Pancakes" (1,320 yen). Just moving the plate around and watching them wobble and jiggle will bring a smile to your face.

Pancakes made with seasonal fruits are available each season, with strawberry being the standard from winter to spring.

This year's dish is "Amaou Millefeuille Pancake" (1,900 yen)! It will be available until early March 2024.

Two layers of ricotta cheese pancakes are topped with crispy pie crust, strawberries, and fresh cream.

There is plenty of custard cream between the two stacked pancakes and on top of the pancakes!

The pancakes themselves were quite mildly sweet, so the custard cream added a nice accent to the taste.

The fluffy and fluffy texture of the pancakes means they can be easily cut with just a light stab of a knife.

The pancakes are topped with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and homemade chocolate - it's simply luxurious!

They also lend you a tube of condensed milk, so you can pour as much as you like.

It was absolutely delicious!

This is a piping hot "OZ Beef Curry Doria" (1,200 yen). It's full of Australian beef! The egg makes it even more appetizing.

This is the "Macaroni Shrimp Gratin" (1,100 yen), a winter dish that combines plump shrimp with homemade béchamel sauce and plenty of cheese.
