A popular restaurant where reservations are recommended! "5 minutes walk from Canal City Hakata" A restaurant specializing in exquisite cheese dishes (Fukuoka City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love cheese.

This time, we will introduce some recommended restaurants for dinner in Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

Open late into the night! Cheese specialty restaurant with a hideaway feel for adults: "CHEESE FUKUOKA" (Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

Cafe and bar "CHEESE FUKUOKA" is a 10-minute walk from Watanabedori Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line and a 5-minute walk from "Canal City Hakata". It is near the pond in front of "Sumiyoshi Shrine".

You can enjoy dishes centered around cheese and shrimp, as well as over 100 types of alcohol and drinks.

It's open from 6pm until 6am the following morning (until midnight on Sundays), so you can use it late into the night too.

When you enter the store, you'll be greeted by the delicious aroma of cheese and a slightly adult atmosphere.

There were also tables perfect for a girls' night out.

The accessories on display are also stylish.

By the way, the beer server that you can see from the counter seats is made from a real saxophone. (There are only a few of these in the whole country!)

Enjoy cheeses from around the world! 5 must-try dishes

Seats are limited to two and a half hours, and as it is a popular restaurant, we recommend making a reservation.

This time, I ordered five a la carte dishes recommended by the manager.

This is the signature dish "Raclette" (1,078 yen per portion). *The photo shows a portion for two people.

The sight of raclette cheese being poured onto the hot plate right in front of you is impressive!

It is packed with ingredients such as giant sausages, zucchini, young corn, potatoes, and king oyster mushrooms.

The rich, creamy cheese combined with the other ingredients doubled the flavor. It was a very satisfying taste.

Another must-try is the "Seasonal Fruit Burrata" (1,716 yen), which is a platter of Amaou fruit, which is in season now, and "burrata," a fresh cheese overflowing with cream.

Burrata cheese is often paired with tomatoes and prosciutto, but the combination with strawberries is unusual, but the moderate acidity and sweetness make for a perfect match.

The secret ingredient is a dollop of balsamic vinegar jelly, which bursts in your mouth and releases a burst of delicious flavor.

The "9 kinds of cheese platter" (1,716 yen) is very impressive!

Nine types of carefully selected cheese are served on a plate made of stepped tree stumps.

The cheese selection changes depending on the day.

On this day, from left to right in the first row of photos were "Mimolette (France)", "Lela He Mintal (Hokkaido)", and "Ski Queen (Norway)".

From the left on the second row, "Gouda Basil (Netherlands)" and "Amber (Itoshima)". Third row, "Pepper Jack (America)". Fourth row, "Comte 3 months aged (France)". Fifth row, "Cream Rum (Singapore)". Sixth row, "Blue d'Auvergne (France)".

This is a must-try for cheese lovers, as you can enjoy cheeses from all over the world at once! The cheese is delicious as is, but adding honey adds depth to the flavor.

This is "Shrimp and Mushroom Ajillo" (1,210 yen).

The shrimp, which are so big they don't fit on the baguette, are soft-shelled so you can eat them whole.

The garlic flavor isn't too strong, so you can order it safely even on a date.

And finally, we finished off with "Quattro Formaggi" (1,342 yen).

As the name suggests, it is a pizza topped with multiple cheeses...or so you might think, but the crust is actually a fluffy pie.

Drizzling the honey provided with it will give it an even richer flavor.

I highly recommend this for those times when you just want to eat a little bit more to finish off a meal! The light and crispy texture will have you eating it forever (laughs).

According to the manager, they plan to change the menu soon while keeping the popular items. We'll be keeping an eye on them in the future!

Please come and enjoy some delicious alcohol and delicious cheese. (Text by Yuri-chan)
