"Tsubo-yakimo N.sweet" (Nanakuma, Jonan Ward, Fukuoka City) is a very popular shop that serves sweet potato baked slowly with far-infrared rays and smothered in syrup.

"N.sweet" is located in a residential area a little way from the "Jonan High School South" intersection near "Fukuoka Prefectural Jonan High School."

On this day, we tried out three different types of classic baked sweet potatoes.

This is "Silk Sweet." It is the hardest of the three and has a deliciously fluffy texture.

Next is "Kantakun." This one has a lot of nectar! It's so full of nectar that it seeps out of the bag.

It has a soft and sticky texture, and is sweet and delicious.

Next is "Beni Haruka." This potato has a sticky texture like "Amantakun," and has been used since the shop first opened.

I was surprised at how sweet it was, it was so high I couldn't believe it was just from sweet potatoes!

A vending machine that sells roasted sweet potatoes 24 hours a day has arrived

Starting in December 2023, N.sweet will be installing a vending machine in its store. Drinks are lined up on the top shelf, and vacuum-packed baked sweet potatoes are on the bottom shelf! You can now purchase N.sweet's jar-baked sweet potatoes even outside of opening hours.

You can also eat this as chilled roasted sweet potato. It has just the right amount of firmness, yet is sticky, and is sooooo sweet and delicious! It's almost like honey, so be sure to give it a try.
