The sinful feeling of eating donuts at night! A cafe known only to those in the know (Yukuhashi City) that is popular for its handmade sweets by pastry chefs
I live with my three rescued cats and my flying wife, and I'm Dan!, who introduces popular spots in the Fukuoka area.
This time, we visited a "night-only cafe" in Yukuhashi City that opened in 2023.
The handmade donuts and sweets made by our patissiers are very popular! "Koyorukisa" is a cafe that is only open at night (Yukuhashi City)
Koyoru Kissa, a "night donut" shop that opened in Ebisu Street Shopping Street in Yukuhashi City in the summer of 2023, has become popular every day.
In November, we moved to a new location, just a five minute walk from the previous location and a one minute walk from JR Yukuhashi Station. It is located in a restaurant district lined with nightlife establishments.
I enter the building.
Go up the stairs to the second floor.
It has a nice atmosphere.
The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the store was an antique-style sofa shaped like a classic car headlight.
It used to be a bar, so the atmosphere is still the same. It's a stylish space.
All for 350 yen! Try the popular specialty donuts
At Sayo Kissa, you can enjoy carefully selected sweets such as donuts and cakes that are handmade by pastry chefs every day.
There are currently 10 types of donuts: Oreo, Chocolate, White Chocolate, Matcha, Lemon, Strawberry, White Matcha, Cheese, Chocolate Glace, and Coffee, all of which are reasonably priced at 350 yen.
I got the lemon and chocolate flavors.
The "Lemon" flavor has a moist donut and the texture of the lemon glaze goes perfectly with it! The refreshing lemon flavor was delicious.
The "Chocolate" donut is coated with a rich chocolate and has a refined sweetness, making it feel like an adult donut.
I'm also interested in the "Strawberry", "Oreo", and "Cheese" flavors! With such a wide variety of flavors, I'm sure I'll have fun no matter how many times I go.
In addition to donuts, there are a variety of other sweets available, including cheesecake (500 yen), cookies (350 yen), and pound cake (350 yen).
They are also particular about their coffee, and grind the beans after receiving an order.
Of course, take-out is also available.
They plan to add craft beer to their lineup in the future, so I'm looking forward to that too!
We also recommend the "seasonal parfaits," which are available by reservation only.
This is the "Strawberry Parfait" (2,500 yen, no longer available for this season) that was offered a while ago. Currently, they are experimenting with a new parfait.
It's nice to enjoy some delicious sweets at the second bar. Why not give it a try? (Text by Dan!)
