[Tenjin Souvenir] Fluffy and creamy! A popular donut shop opens in the basement of a department store (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

A takeout specialty store of ON SUGAR, a popular donut and bake shop located in Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, opened at Fukuoka Mitsukoshi on December 8, 2023!

You can now easily buy products from popular stores in Tenjin! A take-out specialty store for donuts and baked goods, "ON SUGAR Fukuoka Mitsukoshi Store" (Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)

Founded in Yakuin in 2019, "ON SUGAR" sells malasada doughnuts and other baked goods, cakes, coffee, tea, and more.

The sweets, handmade using carefully selected ingredients such as flour from Hokkaido, sugar from Tanegashima, and organic oil, have gained a great reputation.

The second ON SUGAR store opened in a corner of the food floor on the second basement floor of Fukuoka Mitsukoshi, in the same location as the lemonade specialty store LEMONICA.

The first thing that catches your eye is the popular character of ON SUGAR, the PR manager "Sato-kun". He's so cute...!!

It would be nice to take a photo with the product you purchased ♡ The outfit changes depending on the season and event, and currently it's the Christmas version.

The super popular signature dish "Malasada doughnuts"

The signature dish is the Hawaiian-originated "Malasada Donut." The dough here is made with natural yeast and is left to ferment for a long time before being fried in organic oil.

Apparently there was a line from the first day they opened and they sold out in no time.

The most popular is "Custard Cream" (410 yen).

The chewy dough brings out the sweetness of the ingredients and the smooth custard cream has a rich, sweet taste that's amazing! I also love that it's filled with plenty of cream ♡

There are also "Cinnamon Sugar" (356 yen) and "Plain" (345 yen), and my recommendation is "Cinnamon Sugar."

The elegant sweetness of the cinnamon that fills your mouth is so delicious!

A wide variety of cookies

There are also cookies on display, such as "Raspberry Jam Cookies" (345 yen), "White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies" (367 yen), and "Pecan Sandy Cookies" (367 yen). The larger sizes are great!

Fukuoka Mitsukoshi store exclusive gift box also available

A gift box exclusive to the Fukuoka Mitsukoshi store is also available: "Baked Goods Set B" (3,450 yen).

The set includes an assortment of popular baked goods, including Sato-kun-shaped cookies, and original coffee.

This "Mini Cookie Box" (6 pieces for 1,296 yen / 12 pieces for 2,592 yen) contains mini versions of regular cookies, making it perfect for those who want to try a variety of flavors.
