This time, we will introduce a popular cafe in Asao, Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu City.

You can also get takeaway baked goods and deli items! Stylish cafe "ENDE" (Asao, Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu City)

ENDE is a cafe that opened in June 2022, where you can enjoy authentic menus that focus on ingredients, mainly baked goods and deli dishes.

It is a 2-minute walk from Tobata Ward Office and across the road from Daiichi Security Sports Center Tobata (Kitakyushu Municipal Asao Sports Center).

There are table seats and counter seats, and the counter seats, from which you can enjoy the Tobata townscape, are the best seats.

In the center of the shop, there are rows of cookies and scones baked fresh every morning! In the morning, the sweet aroma wafting from the kitchen is irresistible.

"CHUNK COOKIE" (550 yen) and "BROWNIE" (650 yen) are popular menu items with many fans.

In addition to the standard "SCONE (plain)" (350 yen), on the day they also had "SCONE "MATCHA"" (380 yen). Apparently they sometimes also have a black tea flavor.

Open from 7am! Perfect for breakfast, the soup set is packed with ingredients and is delicious.

Starting November 15, 2023, we will be open from 7am, so you can enjoy your morning cafe time.

Throughout the day, they offer a wide variety of sandwiches, including the "Pulled Pork and Cheese Baguette Sandwich" (750 yen), as well as the "Deli Salad Plate (4 kinds of side dishes and salad)" (850 yen), but my recommendation for breakfast is the "Soup of the Day" (550 yen). *One drink order required for in-store dining

This set comes with the main soup, bread, and a mini salad, making it the perfect energy boost first thing in the morning.

The soups, which use seasonal ingredients, change every 2-3 days!

The soup of the day was the Swedish soup "Fisksuppe".

More than 10 kinds of ingredients are used lavishly, including threadfin reef fish, sea bass, salmon, spear squid, potatoes, onions, celery, carrots, tomatoes, and herbs. It's surprisingly packed with ingredients!

The soup stock is well-brewed, so it has a light yet deep flavor. I was impressed.

The salad is made with vegetables grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers at Sumire Farm in Ouma, Kitakyushu City.

The French dressing made with lemon and ginger was also homemade. It was delicious!

The bread is from Boulangerie Avec le pain, a bakery in Kurosaki, Kitakyushu City that specializes in French-style bread.

Apparently the owner has bread custom made to his specifications.

It had a rich wheat flavor and was very delicious.

Drinks can be added for an additional 350 yen, and for an additional 100 yen you can choose a "seasonal soda." On the day I visited, I got the "Lemon Squash" soda.

The lemon squash syrup is homemade, made from pesticide-free green lemons when they first become available.

The lemon flavor is condensed! It's sweet and refreshing, and I want to buy it again and again.

He said that in the coming season, various flavors such as citrus, apple, and strawberry may be available.

Other dishes available include "Soup and Sandwich" (1,200 yen) and "Soup and Deli Salad" (1,200 yen).
