[Mojiko Lunch] Melty cheese and chunky, tender meat! Yaki-curry at a popular restaurant (Kitakyushu City)

I was born and raised in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka! My name is Nami and I love good food and going out, and I also run a blog.

This time, we will introduce a restaurant serving grilled curry, a popular gourmet dish in Mojiko Port.

A famous shop with long lines! "BEAR FRUITS Mojiko Main Branch" (Nishikaigan, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City)

BEAR FRUITS Mojiko Main Store is conveniently located within a 3-minute walk from JR Mojiko Station.

Look for the red and yellow sign. It's a famous restaurant that often has long queues.

There are about 26 tables in the restaurant. The light coming in through the large window at the entrance feels very comfortable.

I went there on a weekday when the restaurant had just opened, and there were already about three groups of customers. The aroma of fragrant curry was filling the restaurant, making me hungry.

Of course there's grilled curry! Pasta and omelet rice are also appealing...♡

Of course, the main attraction is the grilled curry. BEAR FRUITS has two varieties: Super Grilled Curry (1,045 yen) and Limited Edition Super Grilled Curry with Beef (1,265 yen).

There are also sets to choose from, including salad, soup, and lassi.

Besides grilled curry, there are plenty of other appealing menu items!

"Teppan Napolitana" (1,100 yen) and "Omurice" (935 yen) are also popular menu items.

Mojiko is also famous for its local beer.

At this shop, you can enjoy the sweet "Sakura Beer" (770 yen), which was born in Mojiko Port, and the mild-tasting "Weizen" (715 yen).

Enjoy their famous piping hot grilled curry together with local beer... what a luxurious experience.

Hot grilled curry, melty cheese, and egg all mixed together! "Limited Edition Super Grilled Curry with Beef" with adjustable spices

This time I ordered the "Super Yaki Curry" and the "Limited Edition Super Yaki Curry with Beef."

The one in the foreground of the photo is the "Limited Edition Super Yaki Curry with Beef." You can see that it's full of chunks of beef.

The strong aroma of curry wafts out from the piping hot bowl of baked curry.

There's egg and cheese in the middle ♡ When you crack it open, the egg melts and mixes with the spicy curry.

The beef in the "Limited Edition Super Yaki Curry with Beef" is... melt-in-your-mouth! It's thoroughly stewed, making it soft and easy to eat.

When you put hot grilled curry in your mouth, you may feel a slight spiciness, but when combined with the eggs and cheese, it becomes milder.

It was a little sweeter than medium spicy and easy to eat, so even children could eat it.

I finished it quickly while huffing and puffing. It was so delicious that I thought to myself, "I should have ordered a large portion!"
