This time, we will introduce the "new autumn products" of a popular cafe where you can always look forward to seasonal sweets.

Stong Cafe Nishijin Branch, a cafe with delicious sweets located near the Nishijin shopping arcade (Nishijin, Sawara Ward, Fukuoka City)

Stong Cafe Nishijin Branch is located in Nakanishi Shopping Arcade, about a four-minute walk from Nishijin Station on the Fukuoka City Subway. The main branch is in Meinohama.

The cafe has both counter and table seating, making it a comfortable place to spend time whether you're alone or with others.

Free Wi-Fi is available, and some seats have power outlets nearby, making it a perfect place to do a little work.

The name of the store is a coined word derived from the song "Stay Young" by the British band Oasis, with the meaning of "never forgetting your original intentions."

The afternoon tea changes with the season, and in October it's "chestnut"! Orders for one person are also accepted.

Starting in October, the Nishijin store will be offering the "Afternoon Tea Chestnut" (2,000 yen, includes one drink). It's great that you can order it for just one person.

This is the afternoon tea menu that is given to you when you order. It's cute that it includes illustrations of the sweets on offer.

There is a lineup of irresistible sweets with the soft chestnut colors. I will introduce them in detail one by one.

Tea stand upper level

The top tier is decorated with four types of seasonal sweets.

Clockwise from the top are "Chestnut ice cream with skin on," "Marron cake," "Marron pudding," and in the center is "Salted caramel macaron."

"Chestnut Ice Cream" is chestnut ice cream filled with lots of diced chestnuts boiled in their skins. It was quite rich but not too sweet, and very delicious.

The "Marron Cake" is a sponge cake sandwiched with chestnut cream and topped with plenty of Mont Blanc cream! The fluffy texture is irresistible!

"Marron Pudding" is an adaptation of Stong Cafe's standard menu item "Homemade Rich Pudding". It is luxuriously topped with a single chestnut in its skin. It is a well-baked type pudding with a chewy texture and a rich chestnut flavor.

The "Salted Caramel Macaroons" have a slightly sweet and salty taste. The outside is crispy and the inside is light and sticky, so it's no wonder they're so popular.

The bottom row is lined with Stong Cafe's standard sweets. Clockwise from the top left are three types: "Tea Chiffon Cake," "Tiramisu," and "Basque Cheesecake."

The "Tea Chiffon Cake" has a gentle tea flavor that fills your nose. The fresh cream is not too sweet, giving it a perfect balance.

"Tiramisu" is made by soaking finger cookies in espresso until they become soft, then topping them with mascarpone cream and cocoa powder! It's my favorite of all the sweets at "Stong Cafe"♡

"Basque Cheesecake" has a sticky texture and a light sweetness. I think it's a flavor that everyone will love.

Includes one drink of your choice

Drinks include hot coffee, iced coffee, Darjeeling, Earl Grey, lemon squash, and mango juice. You can change it to a cafe latte for an additional 50 yen.

You can also have a refill for an additional 300 yen.

For the afternoon tea starting in November, the composition of the sweets on the top tier will be slightly different, but they will still use chestnuts, just like in October. Please look forward to the details!

Seasonal parfaits will also be available, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of autumn!

In addition to afternoon tea, autumn-only sweets are also available.

The parfait available only in October is the "Luxurious Parfait with Three Kinds of Autumn Flavors: Sweet Potato, Chestnut, Pumpkin" (1,300 yen)!

This luxurious parfait is full of autumn flavors and combines eight ingredients, from top to bottom: sweet potato chips, chestnuts simmered in their skins, chestnut ice cream, Mont Blanc cream, whipped cream, homemade pumpkin pudding, purple sweet potato ice cream, and granola.

It was very filling, and I personally loved the rich, mellow pumpkin pudding and the purple sweet potato ice cream.

This is "Chai Tea Mont Blanc" (hot only. Regular 700 yen / Large 850 yen). A cup of chai tea topped with a generous amount of Mont Blanc.

It's still warm during the day, so on those days I like to drink the Mont Blanc Shake (regular 900 yen / large 1,050 yen). A milky shake made with plenty of chestnuts is appealing, isn't it?
