The first in Fukuoka! New York style cold plate ice cream specialty store "ROLL ICE CREAM FACTORY" (Jigyohama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)

ROLL ICE CREAM FACTORY is a hugely popular ice cream shop that opened its first store in Harajuku, Tokyo in June 2017 and recorded huge queues of up to five hours.

Our first store in Fukuoka has opened on the first floor of "MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi"!

"MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi" is about a 10-minute walk from Tojinmachi Station on the Subway Kuko Line. It is also a short walk from the Nishitetsu bus stop "PayPay Dome" or "Kyushu Medical Center".

On September 30th, the opening day, I arrived at 10am when the store opened, and there was already a long line!

In addition to take-out, you can also eat in the restaurant's standing area.

The sight of it being rolled up is also highly entertaining.

Choose your favorite combination to create your own original ice cream!

The basic idea behind ROLL ICE CREAM FACTORY's ice cream is to combine one base, one mix-in, two toppings, and one sauce (takeout 850 yen, eat-in 865 yen) however you like.

You can choose from 5 types of base, 8 types of mix-ins, 20 types of toppings, and 8 types of sauces. You can also customize it with "additional toppings" (+110 yen and up), "special toppings" (+220 yen and up), and "additional sauces" (+110 yen and up). Only at ROLL ICE CREAM FACTORY can you create your own original taste with various combinations♪

If you're not sure what toppings to choose, you can choose from the shop's "RECOMMEND" combinations (additional toppings are possible, but the base, mix-ins, toppings, and sauce cannot be changed).

You won't be able to take your eyes off the rolled up ice cream! "Chocolate Mint Jungle" has a great minty refreshing taste

This time I ordered the "Chocolate Mint Jungle" from the "RECOMMEND" menu (850 yen for takeout, 865 yen for eat-in).

The base is mint, the mix-in is Oreo cookies, the toppings are animal cookies and chocolate Pocky, and the sauce is chocolate sauce. For an additional 220 yen, we added the special topping "Graham Teddy Bear"♪

Rolled ice cream is not only unique in appearance, but also in the way it is made! The liquid ice cream ingredients are poured onto a plate cooled to below -10°C, and then mixed with the toppings (the picture shows Oreo cookies) using a spatula.

Finally, pour it into a cup, add toppings and it's complete!

The cup is packed with rolled ice cream and is heavy and filling! Combined with toppings such as Oreo cookies, Pocky, and animal cookies, it feels like you're eating a parfait.

The overall sweetness and refreshing mint flavor are delicious! There are many ways to enjoy it, such as adding whipped cream or mixing it into the cake.
