Chocolate everywhere ♡ "Cute & delicious" luxurious hotel dessert buffet (Hakata Station)

Hello! We are Fukuzawa and Nagao from Seinan Gakuin University, and are part of the ARNE student editorial team.

This time, we will introduce the "Dessert Buffet - Chocolate Lovers" currently being held at the ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka Hotel!

Available only on weekends until the end of November! ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka "Dessert Buffet ~Chocolate Lovers~" (Hakata Station, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Fukuoka is located in front of Hakata Station in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. It is about a 5-minute walk from JR Hakata Station.

The "Dessert Buffet ~Chocolate Lovers~" is held at Crowne Cafe on the first floor.

The event will be held only on Saturdays and Sundays from September 2nd (Sat) to November 26th (Sun), 2023, for 90 minutes from 15:00 to 16:30. The admission fee is 4,800 yen for adults, 2,500 yen for elementary school students, 800 yen for 4-6 year olds (preschoolers), and free for 0-3 year olds.

The spacious interior was decorated with a slightly adult atmosphere. It was a wonderful space.

The moment you enter the venue, you'll be enveloped in the aroma of chocolate. There are about 30 dessert options and 10 savory options on the menu. You can enjoy about 40 different menu items made with carefully selected chocolates from all over the world by our pastry chefs!

We have a wide selection of items, from cute-looking items to things you've never tried before, and items with interesting combinations... Here are some of the items on the menu. Of course, they're all delicious and will leave you very satisfied!

First, the dessert menu.

This is the "Chocolate Raspberry." Its gorgeous appearance is impressive, and it was the first dessert to catch my eye.

This dish is made with a mousse made with Belgian bitter chocolate, and is filled with raspberry chocolate cream and finished with a bright red glaze. It goes perfectly with the raspberries topping.

This is "Strawberry Chocolat". It's a white chocolate mousse with a milky feel. It's a delicious dish that anyone who likes sweet things should definitely try!

This is the "Chocolate Shortcake." It is a chocolate sponge baked using Dutch cocoa powder, topped with Belgian chocolate and fresh cream from Kyushu. The slightly bitter cake goes perfectly with the sweet and sour taste of the strawberries.

There was also a corner with many cute and stylish looking small sweets. They were all delicious, and I was happy just looking at them, and happy after eating them too.

And the pancakes that the chef will cook on the spot. In addition to the chef's original pancakes, you can also show them a picture and have them cook it with your favorite design.

Here comes the savory menu.

This is "Chocolate Curry." "We use a lot of chocolate as an extension of adding it as a secret ingredient," he said. The chocolate doesn't smell very good, but when you eat it, it's a little bitter and you can taste the cacao.

This is "Tiramisu Pizza." It seems like a slightly unusual combination, but it brings out the best in both pizza and tiramisu. The dough is chewy and satisfying.

This is "Roast Pork with Cacao Cream Sauce." As the name suggests, this is roast pork covered in a slightly bitter cacao sauce. The juiciness of the meat and the smoothness of the sauce were a perfect match and it was delicious!

This is the "Yame Tea Focaccia Sandwich." It's a refreshing dish with a light tea aroma that spreads in your mouth aftertaste. The saltiness of the prosciutto sandwiched in it is a nice accent. It was delicious.

This is the mild-tasting "Potato Gratin "Duffinoise". Plenty of cheese on top of the potatoes! Of course, it goes perfectly with them.
