A thin, crispy crust filled with sweet potato paste! A popular round taiyaki at "LaLaport Fukuoka"

Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.

This time we will be introducing the autumn limited edition products of "Kashi Taitoan" located at "LaLaport Fukuoka".

"Kashi Tai to An LaLaport Fukuoka Store" (Naka, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City) is run by a long-established confectionery store founded in 1924.

"Kashi Tai to An" is located on the first floor of "LaLaport Fukuoka", about a 10-minute walk from JR Takeshita Station. Enter through the Forest Park entrance and go straight ahead, and you will see it directly ahead.

The area is home to many popular stores such as "Ito King" and "Godiva," making it a much talked-about area.

"Kashi Tai to An" is run by Ryushodo, a long-established confectionery shop founded in 1924 in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture, a famous tea producing area.

Born from the desire to "bring red bean paste closer to everyone," the store offers a variety of products that are perfect for a variety of occasions, from eating on the go to souvenirs, including round "Taiyaki," "Taime Monaka," and "Exquisite Kinako Warabimochi."

In addition to the LaLaport Fukuoka store, "Kashi Tai to An" also has a store in "Mining" inside JR Hakata Station.

I tried the autumn-only taiyaki "Sui Pote"!

Their signature product, taiyaki, usually comes in four varieties.

They have "Red Bean Paste" (200 yen), "White Bean Paste" (200 yen), "Custard" (210 yen), and "Yame Matcha Bean Paste" (210 yen).

It is wrapped in a thin, crispy skin so that you can enjoy the soft and fluffy texture of our homemade bean paste.

I look forward to the limited edition products that come out each season, and this fall's favourite is these!

"Sweet Potato" (photo left / 250 yen), commonly known as "Sui Potato", went on sale in early September! It is scheduled to be on sale until the end of December 2023 and is also on sale at the Myung store.

When you think of taiyaki, you probably imagine a long, horizontal shape, but the taiyaki at "Tai to An" is distinctive in that it is shaped like a curled up sea bream.

The round taiyaki is filled with sweet potato paste.

The sweet taste of sweet potato spreads in your mouth! The dough contains sesame seeds, so it has a fragrant taste. It's also a perfect snack for children!

This is the manager's recommended "Yame Matcha An" (210 yen). The bean paste, made with plenty of matcha from Yame, Fukuoka, had an excellent balance of the matcha's moderate bitterness and sweetness, and was absolutely delicious.

There are also seasonal sweets that are perfect as gifts!

The newly released "Beni Haruka Sweet Potato Manju" (160 yen) from "Ryukatsudo" can also be purchased at "Tai to An LaLaport Store."

It is filled with bean paste made from "Beni Haruka," a sweet potato famous for its high sugar content, and has a moist texture.

It is scheduled to be on sale until the end of November 2023. It seems like it would be a good accompaniment for moon viewing.

The round-shaped "Tai Monaka" (180 yen), perfect as a tea snack, is also available♪ Inside is a generous amount of matcha paste made with Yame matcha. The rich aroma of Yame tea and the crispy Monaka skin are an exquisite match.

The "Chilled Pure Unpasteurized Anpan" (270 yen each) is also very popular.

The bean paste is made from Hokkaido red beans and contains smooth fresh cream made from 100% Hokkaido raw milk. It is a delicious trinity of Japanese sweets, Western sweets, and bread, created by utilizing the skills of Japanese confectioners.
