Limited to 20 meals per day! A wide variety of fresh seafood dishes ♡ A luxurious and delicious "Night meal" (Munakata City)
Hello. I'm Yuri-chan, who moved to Fukuoka two years ago and has completely fallen in love with Kyushu food.
This time, we will introduce a Japanese restaurant in Munakata City that serves delicious fish dishes.
Just like a traditional inn! "Ikesu Ryori Fumi" (Munakata City) is a restaurant that takes pride in its dishes made with fresh wild and live fish.
"Ikesu Cuisine Fumi" is located about a four minute walk from JR Togo Station.
There is a parking lot on the premises, so it is convenient to go by car.
This restaurant is now independent, but it originally opened in 1981 as a sister restaurant to Genkai Ryokan.
This Japanese restaurant takes pride in its dishes made with fresh, natural fish caught in the waters off Munakata, and is popular with locals and many others.

Private rooms are also available! Lunchtime is available for groups of 7 or more, and dinnertime can be reserved for kaiseki or course meals.
You can relax in a spacious Japanese-style room, making you feel like you're in a traditional inn. It would also be a good place to use for family milestones and celebrations.
There is also a fish tank inside the store.
A luxurious evening menu with only 20 dishes a day! "Shi Gozen"
This time I ordered the "Shi Gozen" (2,800 yen), an evening-only menu item available from 17:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:30).
Only 20 meals are available per day, so make sure to make a reservation early (you can also order without a reservation, but the wait may be long, especially on weekends).
This is a luxurious set menu that includes a small dish, four kinds of sashimi, tempura, boiled fish, rice, soup, and pickles. *The type of seafood varies from time to time.
The gorgeous image when all the items are lined up is overwhelming!
First, we start with sashimi. Hirasu, sea bream, Spanish mackerel, and spear squid are beautifully arranged. Enjoy the freshness of the seafood in season!
Next up is tempura, made with the usual ingredients: shrimp, eggplant, shishito peppers, sweet potatoes, and lotus root.
In particular, the shrimp came with two large pieces, which was very satisfying!
I try the boiled fish head. The plump, plump white meat with just the right amount of fat is smothered in rich broth, and it's a blissful moment.
It goes well with white rice.
The accompanying shiitake mushrooms, burdock, and tofu were also delicious, with plenty of flavor!
The miso soup with plump clams is also delicious.
The rich flavor of the clams was great and went well with the other dishes.
There are also a variety of a la carte menu items.
This is "fried chicken" (800 yen).
Each one was quite large and filling, and the kids were delighted.
