This time, we will introduce you to a great value morning meal at a cafe that serves delicious baked goods.

A cafe with delicious baked goods! The building has a great atmosphere too, making "Ottimo Yakigasicafe" (Ashiya-machi, Onga-gun) an appealing place

"Ottimo Yakigasicafe" opened in Ashiya Town, Onga District in 2021.

As the name suggests, baked goods are the signature dish, but there are many other delicious dishes to enjoy as well.

This cute building is actually very old and dates back to just after the war.

The current Ashiya Air Base of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force is renovating the housing where U.S. soldiers lived when it was a U.S. military base, commonly known as the "U.S. Military House."

The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and open. There are counter seats as well as table seats, so it's easy to stop by even if you're alone.

The good value for money is also an attractive feature ♡ A selectable breakfast menu has been launched!

"Ottimo Yakigasicafe" opens at 10am, which is a little early compared to other cafes.

The owner decided to start serving breakfast after customers said, "I want to eat breakfast!" The owner himself thought, "If it were me, I'd like to eat something with lots of vegetables," so he decided to serve croissant sandwiches.

The "Morning Set" (550 yen, can be ordered between 10:00 and 11:00) is a set of a croissant sandwich and a drink.

You can choose from two types of croissant sandwiches: "Bacon Lettuce Sandwich" and "Egg Sandwich."

The "Bacon Lettuce Sandwich" is a surefire delicious treat, with a soft fried egg, large, crispy bacon, plenty of lettuce, cheese, and tomato.

The "Egg Sandwich", made with plenty of egg salad and lettuce, is simple yet addictive in taste.

Both are very filling and while it's good to bite into them as is, we also recommend eating them with a knife and fork.

The drink that comes with the set is a choice of coffee or soft drinks, which is nice.

A set recommended for adults who want to indulge in a little extravagance with sweets is also available.

Besides breakfast, there are plenty of other noteworthy menu items!

This is the "Adult Baked Goods Set" (1,100 yen), which was launched on September 20, 2023 and is recommended for those who want to indulge in a little luxury.

"Dark Beer Cake" is made by aging dark beer and dried fruit, and has a mellow aroma and a sophisticated taste.

The "Fig Nut Cake" has a crunchy texture of dried fig and nuts! It was very delicious.

The "Coffee Cake" made with marshmallows is bittersweet and moist, with cardamom as a secret ingredient.

The "Caramel Nut Cake," an arrangement of the shop's popular caramel nuts, was deliciously fragrant.

The cheesecake was sticky and rich in flavour.

The drink included is royal milk tea. The black tea leaves are thoroughly boiled in milk, giving it a very rich and creamy taste.

The cream is delicious! New, cute-looking sweets are also available

The New Yorker (350 yen) has been hugely popular since its release in the summer.

The pie crust is filled with a delicious cream made from New York cheesecake and fresh cream ♡ Available in four flavors: chocolate, strawberry, caramel, and matcha.

The dough is made of multiple layers of pie, giving it a light texture. It's round and cute in appearance.
