This time, I'd like to introduce a wonderful cafe that is easy to visit with small children.

Connect cafe (Ashiya-machi, Onga-gun): Equipped with a large kids' room! Relax while keeping an eye on your kids

Connect cafe opened on August 4, 2023 in Ashiya Town, Onga District, which is known for its beaches and fireworks festivals in the summer and the Ashiya Sand Sculpture Exhibition in the fall.

The brick exterior has a retro feel and is very cute.

The owner, who has four children, decided to make his dream a reality by creating a cafe based on his own experience, where "parents and children could spend more time together."

There are plenty of toys for children to enjoy, and parents can watch them through the glass windows, so parents can relax and chat with friends.

By the way, "Connect" has the meaning of "to connect" and "to be linked." It was named with the hope that the connection between parents and children, the desire to connect places outside Ashiya to Ashiya, and the hope that the joy of raising children can be conveyed to young people.

The interior is also cute, and the owner tried to create a space that would make you want to take great photos.

You can enjoy taking selfies with a large stuffed teddy bear in the large mirror, and bear ears headbands are also provided for you to use when taking photos.

There is a menu at each seat, and customers fill out their own order sheet and take it to the register.

There is one lunch menu, and the contents and prices change between weekdays and weekends/holidays.

This is the weekday "Daily Plate" (1,200 yen).

It's a pretty luxurious meal with rice, a daily main dish, about six side dishes, and miso soup. It's nice to be able to enjoy a little bit of each dish.

The main dish for the day was the chicken with a rich sauce that went perfectly with rice.

This is the lunch menu (900 yen) on weekends and holidays. It is a plate with salad, bacon, chicken nuggets, and a croffle.

This is the "Curry" (450 yen) from the kids' menu. It's shaped like a bear, which is so cute!

A drink is included and you can choose from Calpis, apple, or orange.

They also have a bear-shaped "Omurice" (450 yen).

Both flavors are light and mild for children.

Of course, you can also enjoy sweets and drinks.

This is the "Chocolate Crouffle" (700 yen). It is a freshly baked cruffle topped with chocolate ice cream, Oreos, and nuts. The outside is crispy and the inside is chewy and delicious.

They also have the "Croffle" (400 yen) and "Caramel Croffle" (700 yen). For an additional 200 yen, you can change the ice cream to a bear shape, and for an additional 100 yen, you can add ice cream or whipped cream.

There are 23 types of drinks available, from soft drinks to alcoholic drinks. If you order a drink together with a food menu item, you will receive a 100 yen discount.

They also had "Strawberry Milk" and "Peach Milk" in these cute containers (550 yen each).
