ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Fukuoka is located in front of Hakata Station in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, about a 5-minute walk from JR Hakata Station.

There is also a parking lot in the basement, so it is convenient to go by car (3 hours free if you use the restaurant).

The "Peach and Melon Dessert Buffet ~SWEEZOO~" is being held at "Crowne Cafe" on the first floor.

This dessert buffet is a collaboration project with the Fukuoka City Zoo, which has been loved in Fukuoka city for 70 years!

The event will run from June 3rd (Sat) to August 27th (Sun), 2023. It will be held only on Saturdays and Sundays, and the time is 90 minutes from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The fee is 4,500 yen for adults, 2,100 yen for elementary school students, 800 yen for 4-6 year olds (preschoolers), and free for 0-3 year olds.

The adorable animals of the Fukuoka City Zoo have been transformed into desserts by Crown Cafe's pastry chefs, creating a dream-like dessert buffet.

First, I'd like to introduce the desserts I had from the menu, which has about 30 different items.

Chachamaru's Mango Tiramisu

"Chachamaru's Mango Tiramisu" is inspired by Chachamaru the lion, a popular character at Fukuoka City Zoo.

Not only is it adorable, but the fresh mango flavor is irresistible, making it so delicious you'll want to reach for another one.

Linda's banana roll cake

"Linda's Banana Roll Cake" is based on Linda the giraffe.

The deep chocolate flavored dough is filled with bananas and cream. The giraffe pattern is also stylish!

Cute fluffy Nozomi cupcakes

"Cute and fluffy Nozomi-chan cupcakes" are based on Nozomi-chan the sheep.

They were so popular that they disappeared as soon as they were served. They were almost a shame to eat them.
