This hugely popular barbecue facility, which is crowded with people every year, is getting even more exciting this summer.

A great location just 30 minutes by car from Tenjin! "CALIFORNIA BBQ BEACH" (Imasuki Aoki, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City)

CALIFORNIA BBQ BEACH is located in Imajuku, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, about 30 minutes by car or 35 minutes by subway from Tenjin.

This is a very popular BBQ facility in Fukuoka, lined with luxury American camper vans called "Airstreams."

The Airstream was renovated in 2022, and its pink interior is so Instagram-worthy that it's become even more popular!

Furthermore, in March 2023, the number of units will be increased and the car will be renovated into an original Airstream with only three in Japan!

The vibrant sky blue Airstream can accommodate 2 to 12 people. The area usage fee is 12,000 yen for 150 minutes of use.

It's a special space where you can see the ocean from inside. It's also nice that it's fully equipped with air conditioning and heating.

This is the "Standard Area" and the area usage fee (150 minutes) is free. Each table can accommodate 2-6 people, but it can also be used by groups, with a maximum of 150 people, which is surprising!

This is the "awning area" for small groups of 2 to 6 people (area usage fee is 3,000 yen for 150 minutes). The sea is right in front of you! You can enjoy a BBQ in a relaxed and private atmosphere while taking in the amazing view.

This is the "Wood Deck Area" (area usage fee: 4,500 yen for 150 minutes). It can accommodate 2 to 12 people, and is a recommended area where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean and the night sky that stretches out as far as the eye can see.

You can enjoy it empty-handed! No need to clean up or dispose of trash.

CALIFORNIA BBQ BEACH offers two types of courses that allow you to drop in completely empty-handed. In both cases, they will help you start the fire and clean up afterwards, and plates, chopsticks, condiments, and other supplies are provided.

You can choose from two options: the "Luxurious Mega-Served BBQ Course with Three Kinds of Meat" (3,800 yen per person) and the "Luxurious Mega-Served BBQ Course with Four Kinds of Meat, Including Rare Cuts of Lamb Tongue and Oysters" (4,800 yen per person).

The contents are surprising! First, let's start with the "Luxurious Mega-Serving 3 Kinds of Meat BBQ Course." There is also a smaller portion size menu (2,000 yen) for elementary school children.

It's a truly luxurious meal, with beef loin, pork loin, herb chicken, large frankfurters, head-on shrimp, scallops with shells, corn, and even pizza and grilled rice balls!

The "Luxurious Mega-Serving 4-Kind Meat BBQ Course Including Rare Cuts of Lamb Tongue and Oysters" also comes with lamb tongue and grilled oysters.

This time I ordered the "Luxurious Mega-Serving BBQ Course with Three Kinds of Meat."

The pizza is a Margherita from "PIZZAREVO," located in Yakuin, Fukuoka City.

We recommend grilling the pizza over charcoal first! The hot, melted cheese really whets your appetite.

The shrimp are plump and the soup made from the scallops is also delicious.

There are three luxurious types of meat. The beef loin is very filling and satisfying. The pork is quite thick, but very tender and delicious. The chicken is grilled skin-side down, making it crispy and juicy!

To finish off the meal, we had grilled rice balls.

Of course, you can bring your own BBQ! Bring your favorite ingredients.

Of course, you can bring in food and drinks and have a BBQ (if you choose the BBQ course above, you cannot bring in food).

In that case, you can use the stove, charcoal, grill, and tongs for an additional 2,000 yen per adult (1,000 yen for elementary school students) in addition to the area usage fee. Plates, chopsticks, and condiments are not included, so please bring your own.

Drinks can be brought in or ordered on site. In addition to single items (380 yen to 680 yen), there is also a drink bar. Both the BBQ course and the bring-your-own course are 90 minutes long, and all-you-can-drink soft drinks are 800 yen. All-you-can-drink draft beer, sours, and highballs are 1,500 yen.

You will be given a special cup for each drink, so you can enjoy them however you like.

Sweets that can only be eaten here

They also offer sweets that are perfect for the hot summer.

The "Fresh Cream and Condensed Milk Shaved Ice" (980 yen), created by the "Fresh Cream Specialty Store MILK," can only be eaten here!

The star of the dish is the generous amount of "ultimate fresh cream" on top! The homemade condensed milk and fluffy shaved ice are also delicious, and even though it's topped with a mountain of fresh cream, it's still refreshing to enjoy. It's so popular that it sells out every day, so be sure to get in early!
