The strong texture will become an addictive taste! A popular restaurant where you can enjoy the exquisite "Sanuki udon" made in the authentic way (Washirohigashi, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.

This time, we will introduce a famous udon restaurant located in Washirohigashi, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City.

Enjoy one-of-a-kind udon made by a chef who trained in Kagawa! "Sanuki Udon Yuki" (Washirohigashi, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)

Sanuki Udon Yuki is located about a 5-minute drive from JR Fukukodaimae Station.

Opened in August 2019, this Sanuki udon restaurant is beloved by udon connoisseurs in Fukuoka.

The owner, who trained in Kagawa Prefecture, makes the noodles himself every day without compromise. He makes the noodles from scratch for each order. The noodles are characterized by their firmness, elasticity, and chewiness, making them satisfying to eat. The natural broth made from Ibuki dried sardines, which can only be found in Kagawa Prefecture, mixes with the noodles, allowing you to enjoy a truly "one-of-a-kind" udon.

The store is spacious and clean. They also provide chairs for children, so you can feel safe bringing your little ones along.

It's also helpful that they come with scissors to cut the noodles so that they are easier for children to eat!

This is the limited edition "Special A Set" (890 yen). It comes with a mini bukkake topped with chicken tempura and soft-boiled egg tempura, a mini meat and burdock tempura udon, rice balls, and dessert (on this day it was green apple jelly).

You can enjoy two types of udon, so it feels like a good deal! You can choose to have your udon either hot or cold.

The chicken tempura is made with tender chicken breast and is fried until moist. It is delicious either as is or with the sauce soaked in.

You can directly experience the appeal of the chewy noodles.

The mini meat and burdock tempura udon is a Fukuoka specialty, but the noodles are made from Sanuki udon, so they're very fresh!

The natural dashi stock, which allows you to directly experience the deliciousness of Ibuki dried sardines, has a slightly sweet and refined taste, and is so delicious that you will want to drink it all up. I wish they would sell just the dashi stock for takeaway!

The noodles have the firmness, chewiness, and bite that is typical of Sanuki udon, but they also have a softer texture that is more typical of Hakata.

It was a new type of udon that combined the best of Sanuki and Hakata, and it was delicious.

The children also had fun cutting the noodles and munching them down with delight.
