[Kobayashi Marina's Seoul Travel Report] Looks great from every angle!? 3 super cute cafes in Seoul, Korea, the home of photogenic places
Hello. I'm Marina Kobayashi, an FBS announcer!
The other day, I went on a private trip to Seoul, Korea with a friend!
This time, we will introduce three super cute cafes in Seoul where you can take pictures wherever you go.
1: A cafe with tons of posts on Instagram! "MOONI (Cafe Muni Main Branch)" is packed with things that girls love.
The Apgujeong area is full of high class and sophistication.
The area is full of select shops and cafes, but one of the most popular is the bakery cafe "MOONI (Cafe Muni Main Branch)"!
First of all, the building itself is just too cute! Its classic white and pink color scheme is perfect for a girly look, and no matter what background you use to take a photo, it's sure to look great.
When I looked on social media in advance, this was the photo spot where many people had uploaded photos.
Before I went there, I also thought this was the entrance... but it's actually the rooftop! It's too cute!
And inside the store...
A pink chandelier! All the girls who like Instagram were taking photos at this seat!
You can take cute photos that have a slightly celebrity-like feel to them.
And it's not just the space that's cute!
A wide variety of eye-catching cronuts with colorful toppings!
"Cronut" is a combination of the words croissant and donut, and is a sweet that was invented in New York, USA.
This time, I chose the "Milk Cronut" (5,800 won) (bottom left in the photo below). For drinks, I also had the "Teddy Bear Milk Tea Latte" (9,000 won, top left) and the "Latte" (7,000 won, right).
This was my first time eating a cronut. The crispy texture of the croissant and the rich milk cream with a strong milk flavor go perfectly together!
The croissants are deep fried, so the more you chew them the more the flavor of butter and the sweetness of sugar spreads, which is just irresistible for someone with a sweet tooth like me...!
Is it high in calories? Don't worry about that! It tasted so good it made me happy.
2. DALMATIAN: A cafe perfect for a packed trip! Enjoy an elegant morning
Next up is DALMATIAN, a stylish cafe located in the same Apgujeong area, about a 10-minute walk from MOONI.
When you're on a quick overnight trip, it's easy to pack your schedule full.
This place is also recommended for such occasions! It is open from 9am and you can enjoy sandwiches, pancakes, and more!
As the name of the store suggests, there is a Dalmatian mural inside the store, creating a truly artistic space.
The interior of the restaurant is lovely, but the terrace seats are even more recommended.
There is a fountain with colorful flowers floating in it, making it look like a European garden.
As expected, the terrace seats seem to be popular, and although I went there around 9:30am, it was almost full by 10am!
Speaking of the essential gourmet food...
It's so colorful and beautiful!
I ordered the "Galvanized Cheese Sandwich" (27,000 won, photo above) and "Eggs Benedict" (22,000 won, photo below).
The sandwich is the ultimate combination of toasted baguette and melted cheese.
The eggs Benedict had mashed potatoes inside and was delicious!
I shared both with a friend and it was quite filling.
3. It's like you've wandered into a movie world! A fantasy-filled cafe in every nook and cranny: "943 KING'S CROSS"
Finally, we have 943 KING'S CROSS, located in the Hongdae area, a hotbed of subculture among young people.
Even before I went to Korea, I had always wanted to visit this magical cafe!
There's also a photo spot where you can take pictures that look like you're riding a flying broom!
And when you go inside...
There are many interior designs reminiscent of a "magical world."
There is an eat-in space on the upper floor, but what's fun about it is that each floor has a slightly different atmosphere.
The menu is full of fantasy!
This time, I ordered "Wizard cake" (17,000 won) and "Wizard Green tea" (11,800 won).
The drink is topped with a chocolate in the shape of a wizard's hat! Of course, you can eat it.
This concludes our introduction to the cafes that announcer Marina Kobayashi visited in Seoul, Korea! If you're heading out on a trip to Korea, be sure to check them out. (Composition: ARNE Editorial Department, Text: Marina Kobayashi)
