This time, we went to the "All-you-can-eat Parfait" event being held at "Restaurant & Cafe Lagoon" on the first floor of "Fukuoka Sunpalace Hotel & Hall"!

All-you-can-eat summer parfait plan now available! "Restaurant & Cafe Lagoon" (Fukuoka Sunpalace)

"Fukuoka Sunpalace Hotel & Hall" is located about an 11-minute walk from Gofukumachi Station on the Fukuoka City Subway.

If you take the Nishitetsu bus, it's about 10 minutes from the Tenjin or Hakata areas.

If you take advantage of the "all-you-can-eat parfait plan," you will receive two hours of complimentary parking at the facility, making it convenient for those traveling by car.

The "Summer Parfait Collection 2023 - All-you-can-eat Parfait Plan" that we were looking forward to is being held at "Restaurant & Cafe Lagoon" on the first floor.

Lunches starting at 1,000 yen are popular, but the sweets are also a big hit. The "all-you-can-eat parfaits" that are held each season and use seasonal ingredients are always a hot topic.

From Monday, May 8th to Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, we will be offering the "Summer Parfait Collection 2023 - All-you-can-eat Parfait Plan" (1,800 yen if booked the day before, 2,000 yen on the day).

Guests can enjoy five types of colorful summer parfaits and three types of sweets specially created by the hotel chef to their heart's content.

Serving hours are from 14:00 to 16:00 (last order at 15:30, usage time 120 minutes). You can also add a drink bar for an additional 350 yen.

The parfaits in the Summer Parfait Collection can be ordered individually or as an all-you-can-eat option. When ordering the all-you-can-eat option, you can also choose the half-size option.

This year marks the third year of this all-you-can-eat parfait event. Last year's record was 11 regular-sized parfaits!

Five types of summer parfaits proudly presented by the hotel chef

I felt like I could try all the different types, so I tried comparing the regular-sized parfaits!

Premium Chocolate Mint Parfait

The moment it was brought to me, I was entranced by the "Premium Chocolate Mint Parfait" (980 yen alone, 1,330 yen with drink bar).

This year's parfait, which was a big hit with "Chocolate Mint Fans" last year, has been upgraded even further.

It's about 30cm tall and has plenty of volume!

The top is made of refreshing and clean chocolate mint ice cream, garnished with rich raw chocolate, marshmallows, and chocolate-coated gluten confectionery.

The glass contains ice cream, mint whipped cream, flakes, chocolate sauce, etc.

You can enjoy the refreshing taste of chocolate mint ice cream and mint whipped cream as is, or combine it with other ingredients to add richness and texture.

You can enjoy different flavors and textures with every bite.

Summer Fruit Parfait

"Summer Fruit Parfait" (880 yen apiece, 1,230 yen with drink bar) made with a generous amount of seasonal fruits.

It's so gorgeous that you can't help but stare at it.

The parfait is topped with fruits such as melon, orange, grapefruit, and kiwi, as well as citrus sorbet. *Fruits may change depending on availability.

The glass contains a white wine-flavored jelly and strawberry sauce.

It had a slightly adult flavor and was very refreshing to eat!

Hokkaido soft serve ice cream and mango parfait

"Hokkaido Soft Serve Ice Cream and Mango Parfait" (880 yen alone, 1,230 yen with drink bar) uses soft serve ice cream delivered directly from "Kitahiro Farm" in the Tokachi Plain in Hokkaido.

The soft serve ice cream is topped with sprinkles and freeze-dried strawberries, and the glass is filled with frozen mango, flakes, and mango pudding.

The rich flavor of the soft serve ice cream is irresistible! The different textures are also fun to try.

Peach yogurt parfait

The "Peach Yogurt Parfait" (800 yen apiece, 1,150 yen with drink bar) was created by a Japanese cuisine chef.

The parfait uses two types of peach: white and yellow peaches.

Under the yogurt topped with berry sauce is a smooth fruit anmitsu.

The refreshing peach flesh and light texture are excellent. You'll be able to eat it all in no time with its refined flavor.

Matcha Parfait

The "Matcha Parfait" (800 yen on its own, 1,150 yen with drink bar) has been revived for the first time in two years in response to customer requests.

The matcha, red beans, and vanilla ice cream go perfectly together, with little bitterness and just the right amount of sweetness that's irresistible.

There are macarons on top of the glass, and they are so cute!

Inside is a delicately sweet matcha milk mousse, vanilla ice cream, matcha sauce, and red bean paste.

The matcha has just the right amount of astringency, creating an excellent overall balance!

It was so delicious that I didn't get tired of it until the last bite.

All-you-can-eat three types of sweets!

In addition to the parfait, you can enjoy three types of sweets in an all-you-can-eat menu.

Catalana

"Catalana" originated in the Catalonia region of Spain. It is a dessert that is sometimes said to be very similar to creme brulée.

The surface is sprinkled with sugar while frozen and then roasted over a burner, giving it a crunchy caramel texture.

Hojicha Manju

"Hojicha Manju" is also available as an all-you-can-eat treat!

When you take a bite, the slightly bitter flavor of roasted green tea fills your mouth. It has a refined sweetness.

Warabimochi

"Warabimochi" has a soft and bouncy texture that will become addictive!

On the day I visited it, it was strawberry flavored, but the flavor apparently changes depending on the season.
