This time, we will introduce ``This is icecream Kitakyushu store'' which opened on April 17, 2023!

Perfect for a night drive! Okinawa-originated night parfait specialty store "This is icecream Kitakyushu store" (Hagiwara, Yahata-ku, Kitakyushu City)

"This is icecream," a night parfait specialty store that opened in Okinawa Prefecture in September 2022, is opening in Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City, for the first time outside the prefecture!

The Kitakyushu store is operated by the cafe "Tsubame Letters." It is located inside the cafe and is open from 7:00 pm.

Enjoy the luxurious taste of original baked sweets in a hearty parfait

There are 11 different items on the menu, all served in a cup.

The ice cream is made with carefully selected ingredients and is topped with Tsubame Letters' original baked goods.

I will introduce the six types I tried that day one by one. Please take a look at their original and interesting names.

This is "Bold Change of Strategy" (700 yen).

From top to bottom: almond tuile, chocolate sauce, chocolate mint ice cream, granola, fresh cream, chocolate mint ice cream, and chocolate flakes.

The chocolate mint ice cream has a refreshing mint flavor accented by the slight sweetness of chocolate. It goes well with the whipped cream and granola inside.

This is the "Yatsuaburi Lariat" (800 yen).

From top to bottom: caramel rusk, caramel sauce, cookies and cream ice cream, granola, fresh cream, cookies and cream ice cream, and chocolate flakes.

The ice cream is gooey and filled with chunks of Oreo cookies.

We also recommend eating it with caramel rusks!

This is "Matcha Matcha" (700 yen).

From top to bottom: rabbit sable, chocolate sauce, Uji matcha ice cream, granola, fresh cream, Uji matcha ice cream, and chocolate flakes.

The rich flavor of the tea leaves in the matcha ice cream spreads softly and is delicious! It also goes perfectly with the chocolate sauce.

This is "Barnilla Vanilla x 2" (800 yen).

From top to bottom: salted butter cookies, caramel sauce, French custard ice cream, granola, fresh cream, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate flakes.

When in doubt, go for this! Classic vanilla ice cream combined with caramel sauce creates a caramel milk flavor.

This is "Loyal Chocolate" (700 yen).

From top to bottom: chocolate art grey cookie, chocolate sauce, Belgian chocolate ice cream, granola, fresh cream, Belgian chocolate ice cream, and chocolate flakes.

It was all chocolate from top to bottom! This parfait is especially recommended for chocolate lovers.

This is "I don't want to become an adult" (800 yen).

It was a greedy parfait that allowed me to enjoy two types of ice cream at once.

Each one had a generous amount of the main ice cream divided into two layers, so it was very filling and satisfying.

The types of ice cream available change depending on the season, so you can enjoy a variety of ice creams depending on the season.

The area where the shop is located is also home to Mt. Sarakura, a popular night view spot, making it the perfect place for a night drive!
