Hello. I'm ayu.latte, a writer who loves delicious food.

This time, we will introduce you to an excellent eel bowl that can be enjoyed at a great value, with only 10 bowls available per day.

"Imasuke", a restaurant in a residential area serving eel and Japanese cuisine (Ozasa, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)

The restaurant's name "Imasuke" is said to have been derived from "Okubo Imasuke," who is said to have been the first person in Japan to eat "unadon" (grilled eel on rice) at a playhouse in Sakaimachi, Nihonbashi, Edo, during the late Edo period (there are various theories).

It was actually my first time eating eel at a restaurant that specializes in eel, so I was excited as I stepped through the curtain.

When I entered the store, I was greeted by a lovely smiling staff member who guided me around, which made me feel at ease.

Choose your seating to suit any occasion, from celebrations to bringing pets!

The restaurant has a variety of seating options to suit the occasion, including private rooms, a counter, and even terrace seating where you can bring your pet (dog).

Apparently many people use the private rooms for family gatherings.

Slowly cooked over charcoal! "Delicious eel" made with the utmost care

Imasuke uses carefully selected eel and sauce, and was opened with the desire to "spread the most delicious eel in Fukuoka."

The eel used is the rare, blue-colored eel, which has particularly thick, tender meat and thin skin. Furthermore, it is sourced from Nagoya and slowly grilled over charcoal.

The mirin used in the sauce is deliberately used without evaporating the alcohol, allowing the food to be baked without losing its flavor.
