This time, we will introduce a wonderful cafe we found in Yoshii-cho, Ukiha City.

Perfect for a break during your stroll around Yoshii Town! Enjoy a moment of time-forgetting at "Cafe Uemura" (Ukiha City)

Cafe Uemura opened on January 28, 2023, on the site of Shigeyoshi Shokudo, a long-loved restaurant in Yoshii Town.

The owner, Uemura-san, worked at the cafe for about nine years before realizing his dream of opening his own shop.

It is located about a 5-minute walk from JR Kyudai Main Line's Chikugo Yoshii Station. There is free parking, so it is convenient to go by car.

The sign hanging above the bench is a great photo spot. On this day, there were people taking photos there as well.

The interior of the store is simple, with few colors.

It is a very relaxing space where green stands out against the warmth of wood.

At the very back of the store, where you can't see it from your seat, there is a bookshelf lined with classic manga!

Limited time only! Irresistible fresh strawberries in the "Strawberry Trifle"

The "Strawberry Trifle" (770 yen) uses plenty of strawberries from Ukiha. It will be available until the end of Golden Week.

"Trifle" is a sweet treat that originated in the UK, made by layering small pieces of sponge cake, custard, and fruit in a bowl.

The fluffy sponge is chiffon cake from "315bakery" in Nakagawa City, and the gelato topping is from Ukiha's gelato specialty shop "Sorbetch do Ukiha." The custard is homemade.

The strawberries are from Uemura Farm, run by Uemura's husband. They use different varieties each day, including Sachinoka, Sagahonoka, Benihoppe, Kaorino, and Koiminori.

Each dish was packed with delicious ingredients, and the taste was amazing. The portions were also generous and very satisfying.

A bitter yet gentle taste! "Affogato"

Affogato (770 yen) is a perfect menu for the upcoming season.

The glass is filled with plenty of "Sorbetch do Ukiha" gelato!

Then, espresso is poured over the generous layer of gelato.

In fact, the owner, Mr. Uemura, used to work at Zelkova Coffee, which is located on the Budou no Tane premises, and the coffee used is Zelkova Coffee's original blend.

The harmony between the deep, bitter flavor of espresso and the milky, gentle flavor of gelato is truly exquisite!

The cookies on top are from the patisserie "Le Sucre" in Ukiha City.

Its crispy, moist and soft texture adds even more deliciousness to your affogato.

Perfect for a light snack! "Butter and honey toast"

There is also a full menu of light snacks.

This is "Butter and Honey Toast" (600 yen) made with Yudane bread from "315bakery."

The chewy and moist texture of the bread and the flavor of the generous amount of butter and honey are irresistible.

Full of seasonal flavor! "Chiffon cake"

"Chiffon cake" (800 yen) served with seasonal fruits, gelato, and fresh cream.

Uemura's warm atmosphere and delicious coffee and sweets. I became such a fan that I went there two days in a row during my stay in Ukiha.
