[Tenjin Event] Taste comparison of piping hot fried chicken from popular restaurants! A one-day festival that will make you feel like you're traveling to Nakatsu

This time, we will introduce an event where you can compare and taste freshly fried chicken while in Tenjin.

[October 11, 2025] "Nakatsu Fried Chicken Festival" will be held (Fukuoka Bank Head Office Square)

The Nakatsu Karaage Festival in Fukuoka Tenjin will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Fukuoka Bank Head Office Square in Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.

This one-day festival in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, known as the "holy land of fried chicken," allows you to enjoy not only freshly fried chicken but also a variety of gourmet foods and tourist information all at once.

There will be a lot to see, including the famous conger eel dishes, sales of local products, tourist booths, and a raffle!

Freshly fried chicken and more! Nakatsu gourmet food gathers in Tenjin

The best part is being able to taste freshly fried Nakatsu Karaage, made with the famous restaurant's secret sauce, right there on the spot!

"Age-dokoro Bungoya" has won the highest gold award for six consecutive years in the "Fried Chicken Grand Prix Western Japan Soy Sauce Category"

At Nakatsu Irotoridori, the owner, who was born and raised in Nakatsu, does everything by himself, from purchasing the meat to cutting it and marinating it in the sauce.

Four branches of Moriyama, a famous restaurant with locations across the country, will be participating. Be sure to try and compare the freshly fried Nakatsu fried chicken!

In addition to fried chicken, you can enjoy Nakatsu gourmet dishes such as conger eel shumai, conger eel rice, kabosu sour, and kabosu squash.

In addition, local specialties are also sold. From "Yamaguni Pears" and the brand rice "Yamakuni Homare" to "Kinun Pork Curry" and "Yabakei Rock Tea," you can enjoy shopping for souvenirs while feeling like you're on vacation.

There are lots of fun projects!

If you shop at the venue, you can participate in the big lottery. You can win coupons (worth up to 5,000 yen) that can be used at restaurants in Nakatsu city, as well as a "Kyushu Nakatsu Specialty Assortment Set"!

The tourist booth will also provide the latest tourist information. Check out the "stunning spots" where you can enjoy autumn in Nakatsu, such as cosmos and autumn leaves.
