A huge indoor amusement park! A fully equipped all-weather children's playground that's perfect for cold and rainy days (Kitakyushu City)
Hello. I'm Honosuke, who loves going out and exploring places that parents and children can enjoy together.
This time, we will introduce a convenient and fun play area located inside a shopping mall in Shimozoneshinmachi, Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City.
Full of exciting play equipment, it's fun no matter how many times you go! "Kids Land US Kitakyushu Kokura Store" (Shimozoneshinmachi, Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City)
"Kids Land US Kokura" is located on the third floor of "Sunnyside Mall Kokura", a one-minute walk from JR Shimozone Station. It is a huge indoor amusement park with 53 stores nationwide and 10 stores in Kyushu.

It's convenient for shopping as it's inside a shopping mall. There are 1,382 parking spaces, so it's safe to go by car. If you do, park on the 3rd floor for easy access!
Please note that if you are coming from inside the mall (1st or 2nd floor), there is no direct elevator. If you are using a stroller or wheelchair, we recommend taking the "red elevator" to the parking lot on the 3rd floor and then coming from outside (the parking lot).

If you are traveling by train, it is close and convenient to exit from the south exit of Shimozone Station.

When you arrive, the first thing you do is check in.

Business hours are 10:00-20:00. The target age is from 0 years old to 6th grade of elementary school. It is free for 0 years old, and there is a fee for 1 year old and over.
On weekdays, children's one-hour and evening packs (entry after 3:00 p.m.) are 700 yen, one-day packs are 900 yen, and parental one-day packs are 600 yen.
On holidays, there are two types of packs available for children: a one-hour pack and a three-hour pack. The one-hour pack costs 700 yen, the three-hour pack costs 1,200 yen, and the one-day pack for parents costs 600 yen.

What's great is that children can come and go as many times as they like, have different guardians, and are allowed to bring their own food and drinks.
There is an eating and drinking area within the facility, so you can stop by to buy food or do some shopping along the way.
Over 20 types of play equipment and facilities! You can use your whole body to play freely.
The first thing that surprised me when I entered was the size of the facility! I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow! It's so big!" It's so big that the whole thing doesn't fit in one photo.

Now let's take a look at the play equipment and facilities.
First up is the ever-popular "Super Jungle Gym," a large playground equipment with a ball pool and slide.
Since no one was playing there at the time, we decided to go inside. My 0-year-old son, who loves ball pools, was delighted.
Next to it was an area with mini houses and toy cars and trains to ride in. The children had fun looking at the many cars with smiles on their faces, or getting serious about driving them.
There was also a Cyber Wheel right in front of the jungle gym.

There were also things like push carts and bead coasters that little kids would enjoy.

At the very back there is a "camping corner" where you can enjoy the outdoors! You can even see children relaxing in hammocks.

There is also a ball pool for children aged 6 months to 3 years old, so even small children can play freely and safely!
There are also two other areas for children aged 0 to 3 years old! Babies can play safely.
There are bouncers and activity jumpers available, so babies who come with their big brothers and sisters will surely have a great time♪
It's a great way to stimulate my children because they can play in a dynamic way that they can't do at home. My son was able to climb the playground equipment that he couldn't climb at first, but he kept trying every time.
The "Game Corner" is also well-equipped! You can play arcade games as much as you like, making it a dreamlike space. You can make your children's wish of "I want to play one more time!" come true.
You can even play table tennis and karaoke! There was also a "Self-Photo Studio" with a wide selection of costumes, and a "US Experience Lab" where you could make things. I was constantly amazed, thinking, "You can even do things like that!"
In addition to that, there are many other play equipment such as Plarail, blocks, and a one-person Ferris wheel, so it's exciting no matter how many times you go!
There is also a corner with massage chairs and manga books lined up for adults to relax in.
There are also plenty of convenient facilities such as nursing rooms, lockers, and microwaves!
The nursing room and diaper changing stations are located after leaving the facility, down the slope.
There were also lockers with keys, drink and ice cream vending machines, a microwave, and a place to park strollers.
You can eat and drink at these tables. There are kids' chairs everywhere, which is very helpful when dining with small children.
The expressions on all the children playing were lively, and I felt that it was a place that people of all ages could enjoy. After playing here, I slept soundly at night.
During the New Year holidays, the store will close at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024, and at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 (national holiday), but will be open every day (holiday rates will apply from December 24th, 2024 to January 7th, 2025).
