This time we will introduce a new spot in Nakasu that is currently attracting attention! The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu hotel opened on August 4, 2023.
Based on the concept of "being soothed by Kyushu's nature," this facility allows you to feel nature with your whole body even though it is located in the city center.

The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from Nakasu-Kawabata Station on the Subway Airport Line and Hakozaki Line.

Wood from Kyushu is used throughout the hotel, making it a noteworthy hotel that gives off a sense of openness and nature despite being located in the heart of the city.

A total of 255 guest rooms with natural and cultural themes
First, let us introduce you to the guest rooms!
This is the "Balcony Suite (King)" on the top 14th floor, which has a living room and bedroom (recommended price: 48,185 yen/person).
The 89.2 square meter room is equipped with a large dining table and sofa. The walls and furnishings are made of wood or have a wood-like finish, creating a relaxing space.

You can get a panoramic view of Fukuoka cityscape from the balcony! At night, you can see the neon lights shining brilliantly.

There is a door between the bedroom, which has a king-size bed, and the dining area, making it a more private space.

The kitchen space is fully equipped with a Balmuda range and induction cookware, so you can prepare simple meals.

Separate types of indoor wear (common to all rooms) and bathrobes are also provided. Of course, there is a bathroom in the room, but if you are using the large public bath, you can wear the indoor wear when moving around.

The bath is a shower type, not a bathtub. When I went to the large public bath, I put a towel and a separate type of indoor wear in the bag provided.

A mist shower pours down! A large bath inspired by the valleys of Kyushu
The large public bath on the third floor is an area reserved for guests only. Designed to resemble the valleys of Kyushu, the bathhouse uses black clay walls from Kumamoto and Kagoshima. The chic space is filled with greenery, creating a truly dreamy atmosphere (photo shows the men's bathroom).

The sauna room is equipped with a dry sauna for men and a mist sauna for women. The men's bathroom also has a cold bath!

Here you can enjoy self-service "REC COFFEE," which has stores mainly in Fukuoka, as well as popsicles made with non-standard fruits grown in Kyushu.

At the "Rooftop Garden", also located on the third floor, you can bring a drink from the lounge after your bath and spend a relaxing time surrounded by greenery.

Next to the lobby on the second floor is "ONO HAKATA - Octo Natura Kyushu."

The display of firewood, which is said to have been made from trees that fell in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, due to heavy rains, is impressive.

The breakfast here allows you to choose one main dish (two types of wood-fired dishes) and one side dish (four types of egg dishes).

In addition, the half buffet will have a wide variety of dishes using Kyushu ingredients, such as "Rice with Raw Eggs" made with local eggs from Iizuka's "Hatanaka Raising Chicken Farm" and "Brown Sugar Chiffon Cake from Tanegashima"♪

On this day, I chose the "Itoshima Pork Shoulder Roast Grilled with Corn Declineaison." The surprisingly tender pork shoulder and the irresistible aroma of the corn were the perfect combination!

The sub-menu choice, "Kyushu Mascarpone French Toast with Mango Sauce," had a fluffy texture and the avocado sauce was delicious♪

There is a DJ booth and a piano, and music events featuring local artists are held every Friday and Saturday.

The walls are decorated with art created in collaboration with "HIBIGEI," an organization that aims to change society through art by people with disabilities.
