[Kitakyushu Lunch] Incredibly delicious! A customizable spice curry restaurant (Kokurakita Ward)
Hello. I'm Momo and I love to eat.
This time, we will introduce you to an excellent spice curry restaurant in Shimizu, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City.
Customizable and with a wide variety! Original spice curry shop "CSGO" (Shimizu, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)
CSGO is located about a 4-minute drive from JR Minami-Kokura Station, near Higashi Chikushi Junior College and next to Yomiuri Center Itotsu. It is an authentic spice curry restaurant that uses the owner's carefully selected spices and offers unique arrangements of European, South Indian, Sri Lankan, and other styles.
It is recommended to go with 1-2 people as it operates with one person on weekdays and two people on weekends, so we recommend that you go with plenty of time.

There is a parking lot near the store, so it is convenient for those who come by car (there is also a paid parking lot nearby).

The restaurant has a bright and casual atmosphere, with 12 counter seats and two tables that seat four people.
*Photography is usually prohibited inside the store, but this time we got permission from the store to take photos.

First, purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine (cash only).

The specialty of this restaurant is that you can freely customize the type of curry sauce and ingredients, so you can enjoy your own original curry.
First, choose the type of curry sauce from "Spicy," "Yellow," "Rasam," or "Java," then choose the type of rice, curry ingredients (beef, shrimp lemon, pork, chicken), toppings (spinach, fried eggplant), and spiciness (non-spicy, medium spicy, hot +50 yen, super spicy +100 yen).

If you can't decide because there are too many options, you can choose from the popular "recommended staples" of the restaurant: "Spicy Chicken Cutlet" (1,000 yen), "Yellow Shrimp Lemon" (920 yen), "Rasam Keema" (1,020 yen), and "Java Chicken Cutlet" (1,120 yen).

There is also a weekend-only menu that changes irregularly. On this day, it was "Seared Pork, Yellow Lemon Curry, and Special Keema Mixture" (1,500 yen). Apparently, some customers come to the restaurant just for this.

Once you order, you hand over your meal ticket and exchange it for a numbered ticket, and when the buzzer sounds, you go and collect your ready meal.

An exquisite curry that you will definitely want to return to
Let me introduce the menu I had.
Beef Java Chicken Cutlet Curry
The "Beef Java Chicken Cutlet Curry" (1,520 yen) is made with the curry sauce "Java", rice "chicken cutlet on top", and topping "beef". The spicy aroma will whet your appetite.

The slow-cooked Java curry is filled with chunks of tender beef. I chose the standard medium level of spiciness, which was just the right amount of spicy, with a hint of sweetness at the same time.

It comes with four chicken cutlets, all freshly fried and piping hot!
The batter is crispy and soft enough to cut with a spoon ♡ When combined with the rich curry, it's irresistible!

Pork Java Chicken Cutlet Curry
By the way, the "Pork Java Chicken Cutlet Curry" (1,480 yen), which uses pork as the ingredient in the "Beef Java Chicken Cutlet Curry", is also delicious.
It's filled with large chunks of pork, so it's very filling! You'll be hooked on the deliciousness.

Yellow Shrimp Lemon
One of the "recommended classics" is the popular "Yellow Shrimp Lemon" (920 yen), which is packed with the delicious flavor of shrimp.

This creamy soup curry is based on coconut milk and has a smooth texture. The spiciness that hits you later is irresistible!
*The side dish toppings (carrots, cabbage, chickpeas) have now changed.
Mango lassi is also recommended.
Cold water is self-service, but they also offer mango lassi, iced coffee, iced tea, and hot coffee (300 yen each).
The most popular drink is the "Mango Lassi." It's fruity, sweet, and very rich! It goes well with spicy curry.

The extensive menu makes this a curry restaurant you'll want to visit again and again. Take-out is also available. Please come and visit us! (Text by momo)
