A day full of fun! "Kids will love it" aerial walk "Skynet" & spacious "family bath" (Chikushino City)
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
It's autumn. When you think of autumn, many people probably think of sports.
So this time, we will introduce some activity spots in Chikushino City that parents and children can enjoy together.
Fun for the whole family! Chikushino Sports Land (Chikushino City) is a complex with leisure facilities, baths, and restaurants.
Chikushino Sports Land is located in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture, about 40 minutes by car from Fukuoka city.
It is located about 5 minutes from the Chikushino Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway, along Prefectural Route 17.

This complex offers a variety of activities, including bowling, batting, a golf driving range, and an innovative athletic facility called "Sky Net/Promenade in the Sky," as well as a hot spring bath called "Chikushinoyu" and a restaurant called "Lunch Cafe Chikushitei."
Western Japan's largest aerial adventure! "Skynet"
The first thing I would like to introduce is "Skynet," a hot topic on social media.
This is an athletic facility with strong netting stretched in all directions 3 to 5 meters above the ground.
You can have fun under the open sky, jumping and bouncing like on a trampoline.

The usage fee (60 minutes) differs between weekdays and weekends and holidays. On weekdays, it is 1,800 yen for adults (junior high school students to 69 years old), 1,600 yen for elementary school students, 1,300 yen for infants (3 to 6 years old), and 1,600 yen for seniors (70 years old and over). On weekends and holidays, it is 300 yen higher. *Children aged 3 to elementary school must be accompanied by a guardian. Children under 3 years old are not allowed to enter.

Adults will need to change into special shoes, so don't forget to bring socks. *Sports shoes do not need to be changed into.

Introducing the inside of "Skynet" with plenty of photos!
Once you've checked in, it's time to get started!

First, there is a colorful ball pool in the area for children under elementary school age.

Image: Yurichan
There are also bubble balls, which are air-filled balls that people can get inside and play with.

Image: Yurichan
The kids had a great time jumping and bouncing like on a trampoline in the great outdoors!

The sky feels so close ♡

Try climbing up.

Try your hand at bouldering.

Image: Yurichan
You can have fun using your whole body, even climbing across trees.

Image: Yurichan
There is also an area where you can play soccer darts.

Image: Yurichan
Shooting while hopping around in basketball is quite difficult (lol)!

Image: Yurichan
There are a total of eight attractions, ranging from casual ones that children can enjoy to full-scale trampolines that are useful for strengthening the core.

Image: Yurichan
The adults got sore muscles (lol), but it had been a long time since I had been soaked in a sweat. Both parents and children had a great time.

Image: Yurichan
There were also "Segways" that even elementary school children could ride (500 yen per person per vehicle, 1,000 yen for two or more people sharing one vehicle).

Relax at "Chikushinoyu" located on the same premises
After working up a sweat, head to Chikushi no Yu, a hot spring bath on the premises.
Of course, you can also just use the bath.

In addition to a large public bath, an open-air bath with a hydrogen bath and a highly concentrated carbonated spring, and a sauna, there are also private family baths (6 rooms).

Image: Yurichan
The price for the family bath varies depending on the room, with three options: 3,900 yen, 4,400 yen, and 4,900 yen (90 minutes).
All rooms are equipped with a TV, hair dryer, and toilet, and we used the "Silky Bath" (90 minutes / 4,900 yen on weekends and holidays / capacity 5 people). *The bath prices listed are from October 1, 2024.

The space is based on a clean white theme.

The water was cloudy with microbubbles.

Image: Yurichan
The water is not too hot, just the right temperature, and the kids seem to enjoy it.
After the bath, my skin felt smooth.
Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided at the washing area.

Image: Yurichan
The room was spacious and had a TV, sofa and table, so I could relax after taking a bath.

Image: Yurichan
The thing that surprised me the most was that the hair dryer provided was a "ReFa" brand.

Image: Yurichan
When I picked it up, I was surprised at how light it was! The incredible air volume and pressure meant it dried in no time, and I was impressed by the glossy finish.
You can also just come for a meal! "Lunch Cafe Chikushitei" located inside "Chikushi no Yu"
After refreshing in the bath, head to the restaurant "Lunch Cafe Chikushitei."

Image: Yurichan
The store is spacious.

Image: Yurichan
Children's chairs are also available, so even those with small children can use the facility with peace of mind.

Purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine, place your order, and enjoy!

Image: Yurichan
This is the "Hot Hormone Green Tea Soba with Harada's Egg" (1,480 yen).

Image: Yurichan
This is a signature dish from Shimonoseki that is in the style of Kawara Soba. The chewy green soba noodles, the beautiful shredded egg, and the sweetly seasoned beef are a perfect match. The offal is soft, but not mushy or difficult to chew, making it very easy to eat!
The rice comes with "Harada's Country Eggs" from Chikushino City, so it's a TKG. It was sweet and delicious!

Image: Yurichan
This is the "Sangen Pork Juicy Tonkatsu" (1,280 yen). It comes with rice, miso soup, and a small side dish. The Sangen pork inside the crispy batter was truly juicy.

Image: Yurichan
There is also a "Japanese Soba and Mini Beef Bowl Set" (980 yen).

Image: Yurichan
Zaru soba noodles are perfect for soothing your body after a bath.
The beef stew rice bowl had a sweet and rich soy sauce broth that was just the right taste.

Image: Yurichan
There is a space in front of the shop where you can relax, it's heavenly♪

I highly recommend it because the whole family can enjoy it all day long.
How about a full-course day of athletics, lunch, and baths? (Text by Yuri-chan)
