This time, we will introduce you to a limited-time afternoon tea at a stylish cafe in an excellent location directly connected to Hakata Station.

Directly connected to Hakata Station! Wedding venue cafe lounge "TIME NEST" (Hakataeki Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City)

KITTE Hakata is directly connected to JR Hakata Station, so you can go there without getting wet even on rainy days. The cafe lounge TIME NEST is located inside the wedding venue The Strings Hakata on the 11th floor.

TIME NEST is open to the public on weekdays except Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

As this space is usually used for weddings, the interior exudes elegance and dignity. The seating area is spacious and the interior has a soothing atmosphere.

All about strawberries! The appeal of "Sakura-iro no Strawberry Afternoon Tea"

Another attraction is the seasonal limited-time menu available. From March 17th (Mon) to April 25th (Fri), 2025, they will be serving the strawberry and cherry blossom themed "Sakura-colored Strawberry Afternoon Tea" (5,500 yen, reservation required).

12:00-last entry 17:00 (last orders 16:30), 2 hour limit.

First, let us introduce the lineup. The sweets are all strawberry-themed!

The pink-themed sweets are so cute that you can't help but exclaim, "So cute!" when they are brought to your table.

All of the sweets at TIME NEST are delicately made and feature a refined taste that is not too sweet.

The Strawberry Cookie Choux is bright red and round and super cute! Its design is also exquisite, and its beauty is captivating. It is filled with strawberry cream, and the light, fluffy texture and sweetness that spreads across your tongue make it a delight.

The Napoleon Pie was beautiful even when viewed from the side, and the contrast in texture between the crispy pie and almonds and the smooth, rich custard cream made it a delightful dish.

The "Strawberry and Grapefruit Mousse" has a refreshing taste with a hint of grapefruit sourness amidst the sweetness. It will reset your sweet palate.

The "Foie Gras and Pistachio Millefeuille" has a sweet and sour, luxurious taste. It was savory, but also felt like a dessert.

And speaking of "TIME NEST," they also serve freshly baked scones! They will bring them straight to your table.

It can be enjoyed with three condiments: "salted clotted cream," "strawberry jam," and "honey." My favorite is the "salted clotted cream" made with Guérande salt. The savory salt brings out the flavor of the smooth cream, and it goes especially well with the milk scones!

Drinks are free flow.

The "Standard Plan" includes one cup of Mariage Freres, a long-established French tea brand, plus tea, coffee, soft drinks, etc.

With the "Tea Selection Plan" (+500 yen), you can enjoy unlimited cups of Mariage Freres tea selection in addition to the drinks in the +Standard Plan.

We also recommend the luxurious and elegant option menu, which will let you enjoy the cherry blossom viewing atmosphere with both your eyes and your palate.

Two optional special drinks will be available as spring limited edition drinks: "Jewel Strawberry Soda" (1,500 yen) and "Cherry Blossom Soda" (1,500 yen).

The "Cherry Blossom Soda" contains cherry blossoms and has a fresh taste with the scent of cherry blossoms and strawberries.

You can also enjoy the specialty dessert "Sakura Mont Blanc - Western-style sakura mochi served with rice cake" (1,500 yen).

The Mont Blanc has a soft and fluffy texture with a layer of cookies underneath. The smoothness of the cream and the subtle sweetness made it very delicious.

The sakura mochi was sandwiched between dorayaki skin, and the chewy skin and the taste of the cherry blossoms were a perfect match.
