Juicy and full of flavor! A popular restaurant where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled Mitsuse chicken (Mitsuse Village, Saga Prefecture)

This time, we will introduce a charcoal grill restaurant called "Mitsuse Chicken" located in Mitsuse Village, Saga City.

Enjoy the extremely fresh brand chicken "Mitsusedori" at "Sumibiyaki Tanen" (Saga City)

"Tanen Charcoal Grill" is located along National Route 263, past the Mitsuse Tunnel toll road.

Since opening in 2010, this restaurant has gained a reputation for offering charcoal-grilled Mitsuse Chicken, a brand of chicken from Saga, in the great outdoors.

It's about a 10-minute drive from Mitsuse Ruber Farm Acorn Village, so it's a great place to stop by on your next outing.

On nice days, we definitely recommend the outdoor terrace seats!

You can bring your dog to the terrace seats.

The outdoor private room was equipped with a stove, so we were able to stay warm even though it was a cold day.

Delicious! A convenient set where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled "Mitsuse Chicken"

"Mitsuse Chicken" is a brand of chicken from Saga that was developed based on red chickens brought over from France and improved to suit Japanese tastes.

It has a tender texture and a rich, lingering flavor, and is also low in fat and healthy.

It seems that there is considerable know-how involved in raising them, as even the same baby birds can have completely different tastes depending on the food and environment.

This time, I ordered the Mitsuse Chicken Yakiniku Set (2,000 yen per person). The photo shows a portion for two people.

The set includes the classic thigh, rare fatty tuna, chicken wing gyoza, a vegetable set, rice, and a drink or miso soup.

Of course, charcoal grilling is the best way to cook yakiniku! The fragrant smell fills the air and whets your appetite.

The meat of Mitsuse Chicken is as delicious as its reputation suggests, very tender and juicy.

Chewy chicken is delicious, but this level of softness is ideal for children to eat by themselves.

It must have been so delicious because the kids asked for seconds!

We ordered two additional servings of "100g charcoal-grilled Mitsuse chicken thigh" (600 yen).

The chicken wing dumplings are both filling and delicious.

Since it needs to be cooked thoroughly all the way through, it will taste better if you grill it on the edge where the heat is lower.

There was a wide variety of condiments available for guests to use, including yakiniku sauce, salt, various soy sauces, and herb mixes.

Personally, I recommend the herb mix, which really brings out the flavor of the chicken.

We all had a great time enjoying the BBQ atmosphere in the snowy scenery.

The store sells charcoal grilled food and vacuum-packed meats, and you can also just order takeout.

There is also a service where you can deep fry the smelt you have caught at "Fishing Center Uoman," located about a five-minute drive away (1,000 yen).
