This time, we will introduce a cafe that opened on March 1, 2025 in Shirokane, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City.

A stylish cafe with delicious sweets has opened! "CAFE COMMA" (Shirokane, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

CAFE COMMA opened about a nine-minute walk from Yakuin Station on the Nishitetsu and Nanakuma subway lines. Run by a Korean owner, it is a shop where you can enjoy carefully selected sweets and drinks.

The interior of the store is lined with antique-style furniture, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

"Dutch Baby" is an eat-in only menu item

There are two types of Dutch Baby available for eat-in only: the simple "Classic Dutch Baby" (900 yen) and the "Very Very Dutch Baby" (1,300 yen). *It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to prepare.

I ordered the Very Berry Dutch Baby.

It's filled with plenty of strawberries, blueberries, and bananas and looks very vibrant!

It is slowly baked at over 230 degrees, giving it a crispy, fragrant exterior and a chewy, delicious texture inside!

The aroma of butter spreads, and when combined with the fruit and ice cream toppings, it tastes even more luxurious.

If you like, you can add maple syrup to make it even sweeter and more delicious.

The scones are popular both for eating in and taking out.

The most popular item at this shop is their scones, which are made from scratch.

The scones are made with cultured butter and fresh cream, giving them a moist texture and a rich flavor.

About five different types are on display every day, and the most popular ones sell out first, so it's best to come early.

Egg scone (430 yen)

The most popular item is the "Egg Scone" (430 yen).

It's a new sensation with a crispy exterior and creamy custard inside!

It's just the right amount of sweet, and it's no wonder it's the most popular.

Double chocolate scone (450 yen)

The second most popular item is the "Double Chocolate Scone" (450 yen).

Not only is there chocolate in the dough, but the scones are also covered in plenty of chocolate!

It was a scone that had a crispy texture and allowed you to enjoy the chocolate.

They also have some unusual scones such as the "Yuzu Scone" (380 yen) and "Coconut Scone" (380 yen), as well as the simple "Plain Scone" (350 yen) which goes well with tea.

When ordering take-out, they will put it in an original paper bag with the store's logo on it, making it a great gift.

The store's logo is a combination of the musical notation "half rest" symbol and the comma "," to look like a coffee cup. It's so cute!

Special drink menu

At this shop, you can drink coffee made in collaboration with SIMONS COFEE in Shimonoseki city, Yamaguchi prefecture.

The shop serves hand-dripped coffee, and you can also purchase their original roasted beans.

The "Homemade Vanilla Latte" I tried (650 yen, hot *also available iced) released a soft, sweet vanilla aroma as I brought the cup close to my mouth.

The soft sweetness of the milk, the bitter taste of the espresso, and the flavor of vanilla are in perfect harmony, making this a rich yet easy-to-drink drink that will warm your soul.

There is a wide variety of drinks on the menu other than coffee, and the "Strawberry & Banana Milk" (650 yen) is a recommended drink for this time of year, as it is filled with plenty of strawberry pulp.
