This time, we will introduce a popular cafe that opened near AEON Mall Kashiihama.
The first Hawaiian cafe and restaurant in Fukuoka City: "Kona's Coffee Kashiihama Branch" (Kashiihama, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)
Kona's Coffee is a popular Hawaiian cafe and restaurant chain with locations across the country, with the concept of being "the closest Hawaii to you."
We have stores in Kurume, Nakagawa, and Yahata in Fukuoka Prefecture, but today, on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 (national holiday), we opened our first store in Fukuoka City, "Kona's Coffee Kashiihama Store"!
This is the coastal area within Kashii iina Terrace, a commercial facility adjacent to AEON Mall Kashiihama.

The exterior walls are decorated with colorful paintings by LOOSEMAN, a painting artist based in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, which will add to the resort atmosphere.

The interior of the store is decorated with colorful Hawaiian goods and surfboards, giving you a Hawaiian feel.
The seats are low, so you don't have to worry about people looking at you, which is nice.
The second floor window seats have an amazing ocean view! You can relax while looking at the scenery of Kashiihama.

In addition, the Hawaiian goods corner on the first floor sells original goods and coffee beans.

Strawberry & Banana Whipped Pancakes
The signature menu item at Kona's Coffee is the "Hawaiian pancakes," which are made from scratch in the store and carefully baked one by one after an order is placed! The most popular item at all Kona's Coffee stores is the "Strawberry & Banana Whipped Pancakes" (1,749 yen).
*No. 1 in sales among all menu items from 2013 to 2024 (applicable to all Kona's Coffee stores; survey by Kona's Coffee in 2025)
With four pancakes topped with a generous amount of whipped cream, it's a very filling treat! However, the cream is not too sweet, and the balance between the fluffy, moist pancakes and the fruit is just right, so you'll be able to eat it all in no time.

Avocado Hamburger Loco Moco
The "Avocado Hamburger Loco Moco" (1,749 yen) is a juicy hamburger made from 100% coarsely ground beef, topped with a sweet and rich demi-glace sauce, a fried egg, and creamy avocado. It's extremely satisfying.

Garlic shrimp plate
The "Garlic Shrimp Plate" (1,859 yen) is a Hawaiian classic dish of shrimp fried in plenty of garlic and olive oil, served on one plate with rice. The shrimp are cooked slowly to bring out their flavor, and the rice is so tasty you won't be able to stop eating it!
For an additional 110 yen, you can change it to the spicy garlic shrimp, which has a tangy taste.

Acai Bowl
Be sure to check out the "Acai Bowl" (small size 880 yen, medium size 1,320 yen *photo shows medium size), a healthy dessert that is very popular in Hawaii! It's sweet, but has a surprisingly refreshing aftertaste. It's also recommended as an after-meal dessert.

Home roasted coffee
A specially selected coffee is an essential accompaniment to meals and sweets.
The coffee beans are carefully selected from around the world, including Hawaii's Kona coffee, and roasted at each store. The beans are ground after an order is placed and carefully brewed one cup at a time, bringing out the aroma and allowing you to enjoy the original flavor of the beans.

In addition to the items we have introduced, there are many other noteworthy items, such as the juicy Kona's Cheeseburger (1,639 yen), the Hawaiian classic brunch dish Bacon Eggs Benedict (1,639 yen), and Hawaiian cocktails that will give you a resort feel! There is also a wide selection of takeout menu items.
