A lineup of luxurious strawberry sweets only available now! Fukutsu "Light Road Good Luck Sweets Fair" starts on February 18th

This time, we will introduce Fukutsu City's popular gourmet fair, the "Light Road Good Luck Sweets Fair."

[2/18-3/30] Enjoy the enchanting strawberry sweets at the "Hikari no Michi Good Luck Sweets Fair vol.6"

One thing you can't miss when sightseeing in Fukutsu City is the "Road of Light" that appears at Miyajidake Shrine only in February and October every year. It's a spectacular sight of the sun setting over the sea stretching straight up the approach to the shrine.

The "Road of Light Good Luck Sweets Fair" is based on the theme of this "Road of Light," and shops in Fukutsu City will be offering original "good luck sweets."

In 2025, the event will be held from Tuesday, February 18th to Sunday, March 30th. The event is usually held in October, but for the first time in February, strawberries, which are in season, will be the theme ingredient. All 20 stores will have elaborate "good luck strawberry sweets."

There is a wide variety of sweets, from Japanese sweets to Western confectioneries, that are a feast for the eyes and the tongue.

You can fully enjoy the charms of Fukutsu, which is also known as a strawberry-producing region.

Creative Shunsai Gen'an "Path of Light Amaou Cassata" 600 yen (Limited to 10 meals per day)

The Italian ice cream cheesecake "Cassata" represents the path of light. The sweet and sour taste of Fukutsu Amaou strawberries and the rich flavor of cheese are exquisite. Dried strawberries and nuts add a nice accent.

Patisserie Etoile "Path of Light Strawberry Mousse" 600 yen

This strawberry mousse uses Amaou strawberries from Kuwano Farm in Fukutsu City. It is topped with plenty of fresh Amaou strawberries and has Amaou confit inside! This is a dish that allows you to enjoy the charms of Amaou strawberries.

This product is made by removing only the stems of Amaou strawberries from Fukutsu immediately after harvest and flash freezing them at -30℃ to lock in the flavor. It can be used in a variety of ways, such as making a smoothie or eating it as a sorbet.

A popular product from SUN EFFECT, Bottle Effect, a soft pudding in a bottle, has been arranged using plenty of Amaou strawberries from Fukutsu! From the top, it has three layers: Amaou strawberry puree with a hint of black tea, cherry blossom flavored milk pudding, and milk pudding with Amaou strawberry puree. The sweet and sour taste of Amaou strawberry goes perfectly with the rich pudding.
