[Hakata Area Ramen] All-you-can-eat Spicy Fish Eggs! A popular restaurant with exquisite rich pork bone soup (Fukuoka City)
Hello! I'm Fukuoka Nyakki, a writer who enjoys discovering new food in and around Fukuoka city.
This time, we will introduce a pork bone ramen restaurant located in Kamigofukumachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.
Once you try it, you'll be hooked! A ramen shop with rich tonkotsu soup, "Ramen Ichimujin Gofukumachi Branch" (Kamigofukumachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
3 minutes walk from Exit 5 of Gofukumachi Station on the Hakozaki Subway Line. Enter Higashimachi-suji and you will find Ramen Ichimujin Gofukumachi on the corner where it intersects with Nishimon-dori.
The main store is located in Enokida, Hakata Ward, and the second store, the Gofukumachi store, opened in February 2023.
This is a very popular restaurant that serves creamy and rich tonkotsu ramen. What's more, you can eat as much mentaiko and mustard greens as you like!

The store's name "Ichimujin" means "trying your best" in Tosa dialect. The founder was originally from Kochi Prefecture, so he chose this name.

The shop has about 30 seats at the counter and tables, with a spacious layout.

The noodles are homemade and are made using two types of flour from Kumamoto, "Kamui" and "Aso no Izumi." There were empty noodles bags hanging from the ceiling.

Purchase your meal ticket from the ticket machine located right inside the restaurant.
The main menu items are "Tonkotsu Ramen" (850 yen), "Tonkotsu with Egg" (980 yen), "Tonkotsu with Char Siu" (1,080 yen), "All-pork Bone" (1,180 yen), etc. The "Mentaiko Tonkotsu Mazesoba" (1,100 yen), which is only available at the Gofukumachi store, is a must-try.

Tonkotsu ramen made with a pressure cooker, bringing out the maximum flavor right down to the marrow of the bones!
This time, I ordered the "All-pork bone broth" and "Mentaiko and pork bone mixed soba," along with side dishes of the "Skillet fried rice set" (360 yen / 560 yen if no noodles are ordered) and the "Fried rice with fried mayonnaise bowl set" (400 yen / 600 yen if no noodles are ordered).
The "All Pork Bone" ramen comes topped with five slices of pork, egg, wood ear mushroom, and green onion.

The noodles are thin and straight. They are homemade using a blend of domestic wheat and have a smooth texture that goes down easily.

The soup is rich and has a good balance of pork bone and seafood flavors.
The broth is made from pork bones in a pressure cooker, giving it a rich, umami flavor that goes perfectly with the noodles.

The large pork slices were soft and had a gentle flavor. They were freshly grilled and very delicious.

Exclusive to the Gofukumachi store! "Mentaiko and tonkotsu mixed soba"
The "Mentaiko Tonkotsu Mazesoba" is a dish only available at the Gofukumachi store, and is topped with mentaiko on top of the soba noodles, an egg yolk in the middle, diced pork fillets, pickled vegetables, fried onions, seaweed, and green onions. It's a visually impactful dish.

The noodles are chewy and medium thick. When mixed well, the saltiness of the mentaiko and the sweetness of the egg yolk are a perfect match. The pickled vegetables add an accent to the dish, making it a very appetizing dish.

Feel free to add toppings of cod roe or mustard greens! "Skillet fried rice" and "Fried mayonnaise rice bowl"
One of the side dishes is "Skillet Fried Rice."
The fried rice is brought to you in a skillet, and the waiter pours beaten egg over it right in front of you to finish it off.
The delicious aroma rising from the hot skillet makes you want to eat it.

It was topped with all-you-can-eat spicy takana and drizzled with mayonnaise.

This is the "Char Mayo Rice Bowl" topped with diced char siu. You can add mayonnaise to your liking.

This was topped with a generous amount of all-you-can-eat mentaiko.

The all-you-can-eat mentaiko and mustard greens can be used as toppings on rice, to add flavor to ramen, or as "add-on mentaiko" to mazesoba. You can also add mayonnaise to create a variety of different dishes.
It would also be nice to order "rice" (200 yen, small 150 yen) and have a raw egg on rice (30 yen per egg). Instead of soy sauce, try adding the ramen sauce on the table.

I visited the restaurant early in the evening on a weekday, and by the time I left the restaurant was full of people on their way home from work and tourists visiting Japan.
