Juicy meat! "A delicious hamburger steak you can cut with chopsticks" - A long-established restaurant loved by locals (Kiyama Town, Saga)

This time, we will introduce you to a delicious hamburger restaurant in Kiyama Town, Saga Prefecture.

Reopening! BURGER IN KIRINYA, a popular long-established restaurant in business for over 70 years (Kiyama-cho, Miyaki-gun, Saga Prefecture)

BURGER IN KIRINYA is located along National Route 3 in Kiyama Town, Miyaki District, Saga Prefecture.

This restaurant was founded in 1954 and has been in business for over 70 years.

The store closed once in October 2024, but due to many requests from regular customers to reopen, part of the store was renovated and it will reopen on December 7, 2024.

Located along Route 3, it's a famous restaurant known to all locals, so I finally got to visit for the first time!

There is a large parking lot, so it is convenient to go by car.

Even though we visited just after the store opened at 11:00 a.m. on this day, there was already a long line, showing just how popular it is. We recommend that you visit with plenty of time to spare.

The interior of the restaurant has ample seating and a lovely retro atmosphere.

Most of the seating is at tables or sofas, and there are even chairs for children, making it perfect for family meals.

Soft and juicy, the hamburger steak is delicious and brimming with meat juice!

Ordering is done via a self-ordering system using smartphones.

This time we visited during lunch time, but apart from some of the lunch menu items (available from 11:00 to 15:00, excluding weekends and holidays), the menu can be enjoyed at either lunch or dinner time.

This is the "Demi-glace + Japanese Style Double Set" (2,230 yen). It comes with two hamburgers, each with a demi-glace sauce and a Japanese style sauce. This time, I ordered a large portion of rice for an additional 50 yen to share with my child, and topped the hamburger with a slice of cheese (220 yen) (total 2,500 yen).

The hamburger is brought to you sizzling on a hot iron plate. The hamburger steak is all handmade using domestic beef.

The only things prepared on the table were chopsticks, no knives or forks.

And that's because the meat is so tender that the juices ooze out when you put your chopsticks into it!

The coarsely ground hamburger steak has a chunky texture and is meaty and satisfying without being heavy, which is impressive.

It's sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children.

The Japanese-style sauce is a classic onion sauce with a sweet taste that is outstanding. It's a versatile flavor that makes any food taste much tastier when you pour it on.

The demi-glace sauce has a rich flavor and goes perfectly with the cheese topping.

The combination of the juicy and fragrant hamburger steak and cheese was the best.

Next up is the signature dish, the "Hamburger Steak Set" (1,600 yen).

The set includes hamburger steak, rice, salad, and soup. You can choose between demi-glace sauce and Japanese-style sauce (the photo shows demi-glace sauce).

Both menus have a nostalgic taste, and you can feel the history that has been loved for many years. There are also other dishes such as "Children's Hamburg Steak" (800 yen), "Curry Rice" (800 yen), and "Hamburger" (630 yen).

It's so delicious that we want to go out of our way just to come here, and it's quickly become a favorite restaurant for the whole family.
