Private rooms available! Large groups welcome! "Exquisite dishes" Neo-Izakaya opened in front of Nishitetsu Kurume Station
Hello. This is Chihi Log, a casual website that provides information about Fukuoka, with a focus on gourmet food.
This time, we will introduce a neo-izakaya that opened in Kurume City on January 31, 2025, where you can enjoy vegetable skewers and Kyushu cuisine.
Opened right in front of Nishitetsu Kurume Station! A neo-izakaya restaurant serving vegetable skewers and Kyushu cuisine, "Sumibi no Kushiya. New Hakata Style Nishitetsu Kurume Ekimae Branch" (Kurume City)
Sumibi no Kushiya New Hakata Style Nishitetsu Kurume Ekimae store opened about one minute on foot from the west exit of Nishitetsu Kurume Station.
This restaurant offers a variety of reasonably priced dishes, focusing on healthy vegetable skewers and Kyushu cuisine.

The restaurant mainly features sunken kotatsu tables, but also has private rooms.
We can also discuss renting the entire store, making it perfect for the upcoming welcoming and farewell parties (can accommodate up to 90 people).

Hakata Mentaiko Motsunabe
"Hakata Mentaiko Motsunabe" (1,848 yen per portion) is packed with Hakata specialties.

On top of plenty of vegetables and offal, there's a mountain of Hakata Spicy Fish Eggs!
The miso-based soup stock had a mild flavor, and the flavors of the vegetables and tripe blended together, with Spicy Fish Eggs adding an extra accent to the overall dish. It was an irresistible taste.

Other versions of motsunabe are also available: "soy sauce" and "miso" (1,518 yen per portion).
Mini salmon roe and fatty tuna bowl
The "Mini Ikura Toro Rice Bowl" (877 yen) is a luxurious rice bowl topped with plenty of ikura and negitoro.
The combination of salmon roe, negitoro and the mellow egg yolk was outstanding. Another plus is that it's very filling.

Amberjack sashimi
There was also a menu of extremely fresh seafood.
The "Amberjack Sashimi" (858 yen) was deliciously fatty and irresistible.

Mt. Salmon Yukhoe
"Mt. Salmon Yukhoe" (968 yen) is a mountain of bite-sized marinated salmon!
The exquisite seasoning brought out the deliciousness of the salmon, and I found myself eating it quickly.

Spilled Cheese Mapo Tofu
The "Overflowing Cheese Mapo Tofu" (858 yen) is filled with chunks of meat and is a perfect combination of spicy mapo tofu and rich cheese.
It's also quite filling, so it's perfect for sharing with others.

Chicken mayonnaise
The crispy and juicy "Chicken Mayo" (878 yen) is a perfect snack to go with your drinks.
It was fried to a crisp and fragrant finish, and I couldn't stop eating it.

Gochi Potato
The visual impact is huge! The "Gochi Potato" (658 yen) is served in a wooden box, with cheese and prosciutto on top of the potatoes. It's a delicious combination that can't go wrong.

Pollock roe, mustard greens, potato salad
"Mentaiko Takana Potato Salad" (592 yen) is a creamy potato salad mixed with takana and topped with plenty of Spicy Fish Eggs!
The overall balance was excellent and I was very impressed.

It was fluffy and delicious and I would like to order this again.
