Melty Basque cheesecake and trendy acai bowls! The hugely popular cafe "Mizu Table"
Hello. This is Chihi Log, a casual website that provides information about Fukuoka, with a focus on gourmet food.
This time, we will introduce the popular menu items from the cafe that is making waves with its "Water Table" as well as the new menu items that have been introduced since the end of last year.
The hugely popular cafe with a "water table": "GUF FUKUOKA" (in front of Kashii Station, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)
GUF FUKUOKA is located on the 7th floor of a building (with a Mos Burger on the 1st floor) about a 30-second walk from JR Kashii Station towards the taxi stand.
This is the Fukuoka branch of a popular cafe in Shin-Okubo, Tokyo, and has been a hot topic since it opened on February 10, 2024, and is also extremely popular.

Once you get off the elevator, you're already inside the restaurant, where you'll find a beautiful water table.

There is a lot of greenery and it is a very comfortable space.

This time, I tried the signature dish of "GUF FUKUOKA," "Melting Basque Cheesecake," and the new dish, "Acai Bowl" ♪
This is a signature dish you can't miss! The creamy "Melting Basque Cheesecake"
First up is the "Melting Basuque Cheese Cake," which has a melting texture.
There are four varieties available: "Plain" (690 yen), "Matcha" (790 yen), "Hojicha" (790 yen), and "Brulee" (790 yen). This time, I ordered the "Matcha" and the "Brulee", which is only available in Fukuoka.
*The "Plain" version is available for take-out (2,900 yen per whole cake)
By the way, all of the "Melting Basque Cheesecakes" are so creamy that they are served with a spoon instead of a fork.

"Brulée" is a flavorful Basque cheesecake with the surface seared over a burner.
The contrast between the fragrant flavor of the seared parts, the crispy texture, and the smooth, melting texture is irresistible.

The "Matcha" is made using high-quality matcha and has an incredibly rich flavor!
I felt truly happy with the deep flavor of matcha and the creamy texture.

Along with the "Melting Basque Cheesecake," we recommend ordering a cute latte drink with fluffy, soft cream.
The "Chocolate Cream Latte" (750 yen) in the foreground of the photo is irresistible with its milky, rich flavor and gentle sweetness.

The "Matcha Cream Latte" (750 yen) uses the same high-quality matcha as the matcha Basque cheesecake. You'll be impressed by its rich flavor.

One bowl is enough to fill you up! New menu item: "Acai Bowl"
The acai bowls at "GUF FUKUOKA" are characterized by their subtle sweetness, in order to bring out the best in the acai, the main ingredient.
In addition to the standard menu items "Mango Bowl" (1,700 yen) and "Strawberry Bowl" (1,600 yen), limited-edition flavors are also available. You can also add a drink for an additional 300 yen.

It is always freshly made as it is made from scratch in a blender after an order is placed. The rich acai and fruit go perfectly together.

The "Mango Bowl" (1,700 yen) is made with fresh mango, banana, cacao nibs, coconut chips, chocolate cream, granola, etc. The banana is topped with chia seeds!

The "Strawberry Bowl" (1,600 yen) also has the same toppings, including cacao nibs, coconut chips, chocolate cream, and chia seeds. The strawberry in the middle is super cute!

Perhaps it was the rich texture of the acai and the many toppings, but I felt very full after finishing one.
Drinks that can be added for an additional 300 yen include "Americano (HOT/ICE)," "Straight Tea (HOT/ICE)," "Peach Ade," "Passion Fruit Ade," and "Lemon Ade."
The photo shows "Peach Ade" and "Passion Fruit Ade." They look beautiful on the "water table"!

Both were delicious, but I was especially surprised by the authentic flavor of the "Passion Fruit Ade," which uses a sauce made from passion fruit with seeds still attached.
This is a cafe where you can find delicious and beautiful dishes made with carefully selected ingredients. Please come and visit us. (Text by CHIHIRO)
