The chewy texture is addictive! A Taiwanese sweets shop that also serves cute and delicious waffles
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love sweets.
This time, we will introduce you to a Taiwanese sweets shop that is currently a hot topic in Shingu Town.
"TenTen," a takeaway shop specializing in Taiwanese sweets (Shingu Town, Kasuya District)
"TianTian Taiwan Sweets Shop" is located about a 10-minute walk from Nishitetsu Shingu Station.
It will open on August 3, 2024 as a Taiwanese sweets brand of the adjacent "Taiwanese Chimaki Shop Panke PANKE."
There is a large parking lot, so it is convenient to go by car.

It's primarily a takeaway establishment, but there are a few seats available so you can eat and drink inside the store.

Cute and delicious! Affordable Taiwanese waffles with a chewy texture that will become addictive
What I would like to introduce this time is "Taiwan Waffle", which started on November 12, 2024.
Currently, five types are on sale: "Panda Ice Waffle" (800 yen), "Amaou Waffle" (700 yen), "Mango Waffle" (700 yen), "Chocolate Waffle" (700 yen), and "Caramel Waffle" (700 yen).

They make each one carefully after receiving your order.
It has a distinctive bumpy shape, is folded like a crepe, and is filled with cream, fruit, and sauce, making it very cute in appearance.
If you line up the four items you ordered this time, they will look even more photogenic.

Panda Ice Waffle
This is the "Panda Ice Waffle" (800 yen).

Such an adorable appearance! The children were enthralled.

The waffles are not too sweet, chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
The secret is in the dough, which is a perfect mix of joshinko, rice flour, and tapioca flour.
It was also fun to see the colorful chocolate topping pop in your mouth.
Amaou waffles
"Amaou Waffle" (700 yen) is also recommended.

A classic combination of sweet and sour strawberries and condensed milk! The balance was perfect and delicious.
It's sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children.
Mango Waffle
This is the "Mango Waffle" (700 yen).

It goes perfectly with the fresh cream inside.
Caramel Waffle
A new menu item, "Caramel Waffle" (700 yen), was introduced on December 2, 2024.

You can also add cinnamon sugar for free.
Both dishes are quite filling, but you won't be able to stop eating them!
A new texture! Warm "Douhua" is a delight for the winter
Another signature menu item is douhua, a traditional Taiwanese dessert made from solidified soy milk.
This is "Douhua with everything on it" (600 yen).

Image: Yurichan
The "Douhua with Everything" is filled with smooth and soft douhua as well as plenty of Taiwanese toppings such as tapioca and tangyan (Taiwanese-style rice flour dumplings).

You can choose between HOT and COLD, and since it was cold that day, I ordered HOT.

Image: Yurichan
Only the hot version contains sweet potato, and the sweetness of the broth from the sweet potato spreads throughout, warming both the body and soul.

Even though it's a dessert, it's full of ingredients so it filled me up.
The owner is very ambitious and the menu is constantly expanding, so we'll be keeping an eye on him in the future!
Please stop by. (Text by Yuri-chan)
