This time we will introduce a restaurant that will make you go to Yame without even realizing it!

For me, it's the perfect example of a stylish restaurant that I'd love to go to but am a little nervous about, so this time I finally managed to get myself up and go there.

Look for the bright red London bus! You can also eat on board at "SUN CAFE" (Yame City)

About 15 minutes from Yame IC on the Kyushu Expressway. SUN CAFE is a new style cafe bar that opened along National Route 3 in December 2022.

I've always wondered about this, but it's actually not a display piece, but a space for eating and drinking.

The interior of the store has been designed with great care to create a comfortable atmosphere, with attention paid to the interior and furniture so that customers can escape from their daily routine and spend some "relaxing adult time."

The restaurant cannot accommodate large groups, so it may be best to make a reservation before heading there.

I'm already crazy about ethnic cuisine! The delicious and mild-tasting "Gapao Rice"

The menu features a lineup of ethnic dishes that are rare in the Chikugo area, and is made using original recipes created by a chef with experience in kaiseki cuisine and staff with experience in cafes.

This time I decided to try the recommended "Gapao Rice" (1,350 yen). There is a great lunch set available during lunchtime from 11:00 to 14:30, but I ordered it as a single item this time.

The seasoning is deliberately made to appeal to Japanese people, with not too much spice and a subdued finish.

If you mash a soft-boiled egg and mix it in a little, it becomes milder.

What is this? It's delicious!!

I thought it might be spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all and had a mild flavor that was so amazing that I couldn't help but smile.

They also put a lot of thought into the side dishes, and by deliberately varying the flavours they create a balanced meal.

The slightly sour taste of the lape does not interfere with the flavor of the gapao rice at all when eaten with it.

The rice is cooked a little on the hard side, so the minced meat and rice go together perfectly.

It's not spicy, so even small children can easily eat it.

I was so obsessed with it that I devoured every last bite. It seems I was hooked on ethnic cuisine.

For sweets, we recommend the "Special Set" (700 yen).

You can choose three out of four types of croffles, so it's great for sharing. This time, I chose "Matcha," "Oreo Chocolate," and "Strawberry."
