"SOMEWHERE RESTAURANT & BAR" is located on the 13th floor of "Miyako Hotel Hakata."

The hotel is conveniently located just a one-minute walk from the Chikushi exit of JR Hakata Station.

Limited time offer until December 25, 2023! Lunch course to enjoy the Christmas mood

Here you can enjoy lunch courses with different concepts that change with the seasons.

From Friday, December 1st to Monday, December 25th, 2023, we will be offering a special lunch course, "LUNCH Standard Course <Christmas>" (4,200 yen, 90-minute stay limit).

If there is availability on the day, you can eat there without making a reservation, but on weekends, the reservations tend to fill up, so if you want to be sure to eat there, we recommend making a reservation.

It's a gorgeous and rewarding item.

Appetizer platter, Christmas version

"Christmas version of the appetizer platter" with seven types of appetizers.

The Christmas tree-shaped cucumber slices are stuffed with potato salad.

The "Onion Gratin Soup" in the center is a soup packed with the delicious flavor of onions.

There were also a number of gorgeous appetizers to start off the course.

The baguettes and rolls are brought to you piping hot and you can have as many refills as you like.

The accompanying bowl contains whipped butter, which is soft and fluffy with just the right amount of saltiness, enhancing the flavor of the bread.

Kumquat and Guanciale Carbonara

The "Kumquat and Guanciale Carbonara" was made with Mafaldine, a flat pasta.

The noodles are wavy and frilly, so they mix well with the sauce and are delicious!

The sauce was rich, but the kumquat sprinkled throughout gave it a refreshing aftertaste.

Choose from two main dishes

For the main dish, you can choose from "Pan-fried Red Sea Bream" or "Beef Wellington."

The Pan-fried Red Sea Bream was served with mussels, cream croquettes, and winter vegetable beignets.

The red sea bream meat was plump and the skin was crisp, allowing you to enjoy two different textures. It went perfectly with the Americana sauce, which was full of seafood flavor, and was delicious.

The Beef Wellington was tender and juicy beef wrapped in a crispy pastry.

It's delicious as is, but it takes on a whole different flavor when eaten with the accompanying red wine sauce and mashed potatoes.

The presence and appearance of the meat makes Christmas feel even more special.

Christmas Grand Sale ~Pastry chef's special dessert wagon service~

After the meal, a special dessert made by the pastry chef will be served on a dessert trolley.

Being able to eat as much of your favorite dessert as you want is such a luxury.

The cart that was brought out was decorated with Christmas-themed colors and was very colorful. It was so cute that I couldn't stop taking pictures.

There were five different desserts lined up, and I was unsure which one to choose, but they were all easy to eat so I decided to try them all.

If you tell them the dessert you want, they will prepare it beautifully for you.

I would love to introduce them all, but I'll narrow it down to my three favorites.

Strawberry cake

Speaking of Christmas, it's got to be cake topped with strawberries.

Although it is small overall, it is very satisfying as it is filled with large, sweet and sour strawberries.

It's also delicious with the whipped cream that is served on the plate.

Chocolate pudding

This pudding has a rich chocolate flavor and is topped with pistachio cream, raspberries and sprinkles.

The colors were Christmas-like and it was a very cute dessert.

Acerola jelly

Blueberries and oxalis are placed on top of acerola jelly.

It has a light taste, so it goes well with other desserts.

After your meal, coffee or tea is also available, so you can enjoy a relaxing time with dessert.

Everything was delicious, and before I knew it, I had finished every single one of them, even though I had just finished the full course meal.

There is also a "light course" that you can enjoy casually.

For those who want to enjoy a Christmas course in a more casual way, we recommend the "LUNCH Light Course <Christmas>" (3,200 yen, 90-minute stay limit).

The appetizers, bread, drinks, etc. are the same as the standard course, and you can choose from "Today's Pasta" or "Chicken Dodine" for the main dish (pictured is "Chicken Dodine").

This course does not include a dessert cart, but instead you can enjoy the very cute "Strawberry and Raspberry Pavlova" which is perfect for Christmas.

If you want to enjoy the dessert wagon even with the light course, you can add it for an additional 800 yen.

You can easily enjoy the excitement that only Christmas can bring, over lunch, and it feels like a real treat.
